  1. Well that really sucked. At least it was fun for 1.5 quarters. After that first td drive and the defensive play early I really thought it was going to happen. Then pretty much everything went wrong. Leber dropped an interception near midfield, the fumble went right to Olsen. Favre throws a screen right into a dude but you guys catch your tipped ball. But most of all we've got you 1st and 30, crowd into it and defense playing with a lot of energy. Cutler just chucks it up and it looks to me like it's gonna be a pick or at least batted down. Then Madieu Williams makes one of the worst plays I've ever seen an NFL safety make and lets it go 70 for a TD. That was a huge swing play. E.J., Antoine and Kevin Williams were the only guys on defense who played well after that. The o-line that was below average is terrible without the two starting guards. Toby was running hard but once Brett went out there was no chance. Then you just hand them 10 special teams points. If we get blown out again next week (which looks likely) I doubt Leslie gets the job.
  2. I love how Matt Millen hates Steve Young.
  3. Not eliminated but reduced. only prolonged the inevitable although MN does now have a pro-stadium Governor You think so? I think the Metrodome bungle combined with Dayton will get something done. At least I hope so. You know what will happen if they leave. Sometime in the next 5 years they'll get all nostalgic and lure the Jaguars or Bills or someone there and it will cost them more money.
  4. Not eliminated but reduced.
  5. One more time so it's easier to find later when it comes true...
  6. I'm not devoted to him. I'll want Webb to start the next two games. First outdoor home game in my lifetime, throwback uniforms, snow bowl and a chance to maybe derail the Bears fan while pissing them off and most of the football loving world? [expletive] yeah. I'm pumped for this. And he didn't set this franchise back. If it would have been Tarvaris/Sage the last two years we don't get as close as we did, there probably would have been blackouts and the team would have been more likely to move.
  7. Clearly but not as absurd as the initial comment.
  8. Yeah actually trying to play through an injury instead of sitting at home and collecting $3M for the last 3 games from his couch. What a douche move. You know who else made a douche move? Willis Reed. What an [expletive].
  9. Yeah actually trying to play through an injury instead of sitting at home and collecting $3M for the last 3 games from his couch. What a douche move.
  10. If you guys lose this game you should be banned from the playoffs. Favre officially starting and Peterson is out.
  11. I agree but I still think it's possible that Zygi makes a run for Parcells who would likely go for his own guy. Wilf was a Giants fan and thinks the world of Parcells. Plus the Vikings have been going for over a decade without a designated decision-maker at G.M./President and a lot of people think he might want a point man in charge of everything. I would rather just see Spielman get that title and Frazier remain head coach. Management has done a good job of personnel evaluation and for the most part, drafting.
  12. Again, how do people still not understand that the coaching staff and management is playing for their jobs?
  13. Leslie Frazier is coaching for his job. If they don't stay with Frazier people think there's a good chance they bring in a new President/G.M. so the front office wants as many wins as possible. Brett gives them a better chance of winning.
  14. Oooo, that's a good one. Longwell hits a game-winner as the clock runs out. No, check that. Gould misses a 26 yarder late because he slips as a result of the field.
  15. That's a toughie. How many Bears players get concussed in the process? Every Bear who steps on the field because the ground is so hard
  16. What would piss Bears fans off more? Losing to a 6th round rookie QB who was drafted as a WR or having #4 get one last moment of glory on national television and listening to the ensuing slob fest?
  17. I'm not gonna lie, I'd be willing to try, just to see how much more worked up you can get. I honestly envision you repeatedly pounding your fist on your desk as you post these comments. Inaccurate. I'm amused and excited for this game.
  18. Home team has won 15 of the last 17 in this series.
  19. Is there no end to the damage the Dougie has caused?
  20. So before people expressed concern about player safety you didn't want to win the game? You are a strange person. No I wanted to win it but was still thinking I'd be happy with a loss for draft reasons.
  21. The only question after tonight's game will be who is the best QB ever selected 199th overall in the NFL draft. And no one will be able to answer it.
  22. After all of the crying and whining from you goofs I want to win this game badly. I hope your squad is as worried about the weather and field as you are.
