  1. not really I mean that those goons found it to be the funniest thing ever said. I just watched it silent and uncomfortable.
  2. The funniest thing that has ever been said:
  3. I watched that game and it grew on me a little bit. Did anyone see their pre-game extravaganza? It was like 20-25 minutes starting with Phil Knight pointing out everyone in the arena who knew Matthew Knight. Then they had pyrotechnics, a mock court storming by students who just jumped around in the center of the court around no one, a drumline, cheerleaders, a break dancer and some performances from their dance team (wow).
  4. Any reason why Purdue chose not to get the ball to JaJuan in the last 3+ minutes?
  5. What happened to Whipple?
  6. No
  7. The microfracture surgery, other injuries and then resulting ability to stay in shape killed his career. He wasn't going to be a good pro anyways but that was the death blow.
  8. Sean May II? He's a lot further along than May was as a freshman but the physical capabilities are similar. He's getting quite a bit just by being big and backing his ass into dudes with no calls but he's more skilled.
  9. That was one of the worst home games I've had to sit through. Pretty disheartening to see an effort like that in back to back games after being competitive. These guys just are not smart basketball players. When they don't play all out they're going to give up open looks. And when you let teams get going early it's just contagious. Thank God Cartwright and Gatens were able to score tonight.
  10. Marvin McNutt is coming back to Iowa but Tyler Sash is leaving.
  11. I don't think McGamey is as assertive as he should be sometimes. In the last minute or so he was pushing the ball on a 2-2 and then on a 3-2 break and both times he backed it out.
  12. Dang the Zooker is getting killed. They might have been contenders in that division next year too.
  13. If they lose him and Gaddy the Pac 10 really sucks. What ever happened to the supposed rape at Michigan State?
  14. Bingo. That was my opinion the whole time also. You're better off giving him one more year to see if it works rather than getting your 3rd option or worse and having another rebuild with the wrong personnel for the system. It's gotta be Hoke now, right?
  15. The only discussion to have here is that it pays to be a guy who isn't asked to handle the ball or really do anything besides shoot when open. Being on a good team where you don't receive much defensive attention helps also.
  16. Fran said that McGamey is the most dominant player they've seen this year.
  17. Damn. I don't like the guy but I'd feel much more confident in the Vikings developing a QB with him.
  18. Melsahn Basabe was the first Big Ten player to go 20 and 10 with 5 or more blocks in 15 years. That surprised me.
  19. You think? the shots they've been getting have been good and they've used the 3 to set up the interior game. they haven't been hitting a lot of wild shots, they're just good shooters. I won't dispute that they're good shooters or that they haven't been getting great looks. I will bet my house that their Big Ten percentages drop by 10 points by the end of the year.
  20. I agree and to add on to what some have said, I would rather have Garza than Greinke with his contract and the constant fear that he might just mentally break down at some point.
  21. In addition to interviewing McDaniels for OC, the Vikings are interviewing Singletary for LB coach. The NFC North might have like 14 former head coaches next year.
  22. You think?
  23. Maybe Michigan still has a chance. :beg: Now that Luck is staying I would have to think he's more likely to stay at Stanford than go to Michigan.
  24. They tried to interview Ted Williams but the Cavs beat them to the punch.
  25. Josh McDaniels is interviewing for the offensive coordinator job with the Vikings tomorrow. On the one hand I think he could be a hell of a hire and great to have for whoever the QB is going to be and especially the guy of the future. He and Frazier are so different though I wonder how well it would work.
