It wasn't really that the Eagles couldn't stop Webb. He made a few plays and was good overall but the defense and run game were very good. Not having Sidney Rice today didn't help him. Plus Berrian wasn't healthy and it was a surprise he played. He had a sure TD that he overthrew and threw a bad INT across his body when he could have run. Other than that it was a lot of checkdowns and screens.

I expected it. Last week they were well rested, playing a national tv night game vs. a playoff team in front of a good crowd and knowing they had a good shot at getting Leslie the job. Compared to playing on a short week against a last place team in a dead stadium, hours away from vacation and being fairly sure that Frazier already had the job. huh, we were also pretty sure our coach would keep his job and hours away from vacation And for the Lions, playing in a game with the chance to not finish in last place is like one of the organization's 5 most important games of the century.

I didn't see the start either, but yes. He sucks. Mandel passed along a re-tweet saying that the Benjamin Button-like development of Harris has been something to behold.

Me and my brother were close to turning around and punching them, but they were old and we didn't want to end up on youtube. Every turnover, foul, or missed jumper was Tisdale's fault, and the rest of the team is a bunch of idiots for not giving the ball to Cole more. Glad you liked it, one of my favorite places. Love the flying tomato union jack. I sit in section K and heard those guys ragging on tisdale all night, seemed weird. You weren't the guy dancing to thriller at halftime were you?

Yeah I was behind the play and from that angle it looked like he went over his back and wrapped him up. They had the same angle and May was uncontested.

Didn't like the clapping after every foul? Didn't like the clapping while he was playing on-ball defense. The last time I saw that it was in Cameron indoor. Arguing the intentional foul after he wrapped up May from behind (at least that's what it looked like live from behind the play, haven't seen a replay of it) was just dumb. The guy is versatile though, he's gonna be a matchup nightmare.

Iowa was like top 30 in the country in 3 point defense coming into the game at 29%. The defense wasn't good but 13-17? Come on they don't make that in shootaround. Seriously if they shoot just 50% from 3 that's a last second kind of game. Other than that I thought your offense moved the ball a lot better than you guys said but defense seemed softer than Illinois typically is. McCamey is a stud, Richardson is really good and Richmond is a clown.

He was such a dolt at times. I've already watched more games this year than the previous 3 seasons combined despite being so [expletive]. Not to mention, no Todd Lickliter means no John Lickliter They employed Bruce Pearl. I wish they still had Lickliter. Both of them. Jimmy Collins.

You're welcome mother [expletive]. I need some opinions of Joe Webb though. Because I've talked myself into thinking that regardless of whatever, that was still a really impressive performance for any rookie QB, 1st round or 6th round. In like 3 hours I've completely filpp flopped from demanding Newton or Mallett to now wanting a stop-gap to compete with Webb. I now it's nonsense but damn he showed me some stones. [expletive] I wish I wasn't so knee-jerk with this stuff. Anyways, that should have earned Leslie the job. He coached the [expletive] out of Andy Reid. The gameplans on both sides were awesome and the Eagles could never make the adjustments. We dominated that game. Oh and #4, thanks for last season but you better take next week off. I want to know if we've possibly got something with Joe.

I'm kicking myself in the ass, imagine the odds I could've gotten on them both to win tonight. I took Iowa on the centsports moneyline but [expletive]... Agree with you guys though, at least I think that's what you're saying. To me the final 4th down attempt looked incomplete but I didn't think there was anything to overturn it. I was shouting before the pick that we had to move th epocket and make him uncomfortable. We finally did it and he just chucked it up. I think I've reveresed course though. Forget Newton and Mallett. Well I'll take them but I want Gabbert in the 2nd round. He and Joe Webb can duel it out.

Alright I'm drunk but I'm really starting to wonder if there's much of a difference between Joe Webb and Cam Netwon. I mean obviously but if you put Webb in that Auburn offense behind that line with Malzahn as coordinator I wonder if the results would be much different. He was legit tonight on the road against a good defense. Physically Newton really doesn't have anything on him. [expletive] it. If Maqllett isn't there we'll take a stop gap and let Webb be the future. [expletive] it.

the pass rush looks beastly tonight It helps to be able to run the same blitz over and over with Winfield. \:D/ That too but he's also run some zero blitzes which never happened under Frazier. The d-line is playing really well. A non-Vick QB would have been sacked 6 times by now.

We're outplaying the [expletive] out of these clowns. Our defense is playing great. Antoine is balling. Webb hasn't looked bad. Catch a couple of the 3 easy dropped picks and we're leading. Adrian doesn't fumble all year then coughs it up going down to the ground on his own. Pagac is blitzing like we're the Steelers. Webb isn't playing bad.

Terrible safety play and major injuries to 2 of the top 3 CB's along with trading away our nickelback from last year because of Sidney Rice's injury.

I get what you're saying but Iowa will be ready to play. Ferentz will have them motivated and set to go like he always does for bowl games. I expect something similar to the '06 Alamo Bowl against Texas. Missing half of our offense is a bit of an overstatement. As far as rushing the ball Coker isn't a downgrade from Robinson. Hopefully with a month of #1 reps he's improved in the passing game. DJK is obviously a big loss though. Not sure what WR will step up opposite of McNutt. As far as the preview, he should realize that Jewel was already out for the year and only played in 1.5 games. Coker has also gotten 3 starts (and was the only guy in 2 of them) so this isn't his first extended duty of the year.
