Hossa was invisible all game and then finally made a Hossa play to keep that puck alive and set up the last goal. That was absolutely beautiful. I have no idea how they won that game.
I think saying they dominated Game 3 is a major stretch. They had 14 scoring chances to Vancouver's 6 in game 3. Crawford wasn't quite as good as they needed him to be. 5-5 they were clearly better. We had 14 power play minutes to their 4 and had only 6 more shots. Our last 4 minutes with a man advantage we couldn't even set up in their zone and get a shot on net.
so it's a roughing penalty, two minutes. if you suspend on that then you have to suspend every time a player makes contact with an opposing player's head. Agreed, no way in hell that merits a suspension. Bolland's injury history doesn't really matter either if he's on the ice.
Yeah that was ridiculous. They should have been able to take the temperature of things and realize that sending those two to the locker room wasn't going to end it. Let 'em go. Dave [expletive] Bolland, huh? He, Frolik and Bickell were just wrecking shop. I just want to see this thing come back to Chicago so we can see if they completely revert to their old ways and start pissing themselves.
Peter King has the Vikings taking Locker at 12, Pro Football Talk has the Redskins taking him at 10. It's so important that the Vikings nail this QB pick, I don't care if they take him at 12 if they're completely sold on him.
It feels like a small miracle when we can even get an average shot on net. If Hossa, Kane, Toews and Sharp can't get opportunities I have no idea how we're going to score. Luongo hasn't even had to make any great saves tonight. The 2nd period of game 1 was by far our best of the 5 thus far. Keith is so lost right now it's not even funny. Frolik completely sucks and Kane can't get any chances as a result. Hjalmarsson has been terrible. Hossa doesn't think he has to score for some reason.
Agreed on belly putters but Scott wasnt top 20 was he? I thought he firmly in bust territory as far as how good people thought he would be. He was 17th coming into this week.
Good to hear. I didn't look into the pick a lot and had no idea if Mallett was the type player Minnesota would go for, but figured it was time for Mallett to come off the board. Glad a Vikings fan agrees with me. Really hard to say with the new coaching staff. Some places you read that they love Locker, then the other paper says they don't like him at all. The only thing that seems to be consensus is that they love Gabbert and if he falls at all they would likely try to make a move up to get him. Other than that it's hard to get a grasp on who they like at QB other than Frazier basically flatly saying that they will grab one in the early rounds. The new OC was in Atlanta with Ryan and the QB coach was formerly the QB coach with VY in Tennessee so who knows.
Don't worry about it dew. Mallett was going to be my pick anyways so I was just joking around. Need a QB and with the others gone it was going to be Stanzi, Dalton or Mallett.
Sorry, you were past the 24 hours. If you want, you can make your own pick. I was under the impression that I would get a PM when I was on the clock. Was the title changed to Vikings on the clock? If it was, I didn't see it.
