  1. Yeah I get that but couldn't they have used the Minnesota 1st rounder in that case?
  2. And Barea was nearly perfect. Though on the flip side, Durant did have 40 points on 18 FGA's, plus 8 boards and 5 assists.
  3. That was just obscene from Dirk. Dallas is now 11-0 against the spread in the playoffs.
  4. I'm still confused.
  5. Some L.A. writer is saying the Clippers couldn't make that pick top-3 protected because of some rule. Anyone know what he's referring to?
  6. And all they had to do was make it top-3 protected. I'm sure the Cavs still would have made the deal.
  7. Haha, the pick that the Clips sent to the Cavs just to get rid of Baron is now #1. 2.8% chance of happening. Simmons was predicting this just because it's the Clippers. They now have 1 and 4.
  8. Cavs, Jazz and Wolves guaranteed the top 3. Cavs also have the 4th pick.
  9. [expletive]
  10. Yep I would love him but I don't see it. Very possible he goes 5 or 6 and they wouldn't take him if they're in the top 3. Though who the hell knows at this point. 99% of the mocks I've seen have them taking Biyombo if they pick 7th.
  11. Yeah if you take away Griffin that's right about where he falls. It's a total joke that he wasn't on the All-Rookie team and finished 6th in the ROY voting. I liked him going into the draft and he had a better rookie year than I expected. He still has the same physical limits but he's a good NBA starter.
  12. I haven't seen anyone put him in that category. The consensus opinion is that he does everything pretty well and is very likely to be very good, but not on the elite level.
  13. Very much so. He seems to be a classic tweener. Wow, is this draft bad. (Though I do think more quality players exist than the conventional wisdom, there's just not much worthy at the top.) Agreed. I don't think this draft is as bad as has been suggested, there just isn't a good chance of any elite players. Or All-Stars for that matter. There are a lot of rotation guys and useful pieces though. More than I felt safe predicting in a lot of recent years.
  14. Irving is much safer than Knight but Knight probably has more high end upside if he learns how to be an NBA PG. I like Irving a lot more.
  15. Tuesday looks good for the B1G.
  16. how else is the poor guy supposed to look angry LOL
  17. WTF Z? Damn it sounded like he was cruising.
  18. LET'S GO BULLS! Until the Finals, then I hope Dirk curb stomps you
  19. I'm pretty sure the only other time I've actively rooted for the Bulls was in '06 against the Heat. But that was mainly just because I wanted the Heat out of the Pistons' way, not because I totally hated the Heat or liked any of the Bulls. This is going to be weird.
  20. Huh? Zero reason to play this game tonight, ZERO! Worst weather at a start of a game that I've seen in 20+ years. Except for $$ So you think the decision to play is left up to the home team's owner? And how would he have gained more money by playing tonight rather than a make-up day when presumably more people would be in the stadium meaning more retail/concessions?
