A lt of people feel he will have problems recruiting Chicago without Jerrance. Yeah but is there any way to predict who can recruit Chicago well? Besides Cal and Wes? I know it's the convenient way for Illinois to get top kids but with the program they have, get the guy who can actually coach and run a program the right way. They can get players from lots of places.

You also said Iowa State might have their best team ever next year and Korie Lucious is a true PG, so he may be right. Regarding Iowa, his whole point was if they won out and got one in the Big Ten Tournament, they could definitely steal a bid. At 19-14, 10-8 in the best conference in the country and with 4 top 25 wins he was probably right.

Apparently there was a ridiculously good high school game tonight in Indiana. Gary Harris' took over down the stretch and then banked in a half-courter at the buzzer to beat North Central (Johnson going to Purdue, Ingram to Iowa) and knock them out. 86-83 with a packed gym and tickets being scalped outside.

Yeah but you've hit 2 3's against it. 6 fouls in 31 minutes against Illinois You're playing on the road in a B1G game. That stuff always happens. College basketball officiating...where home court advantage usually means 8 on 5. Understood but they're mugging Gatens off the ball and it's pretty rare to see a team go 9 minutes to start the half without a foul.

If Iowa actually gets their 2nd win in 83 years in Champaign (which won't happen) and I can't even enjoy it on here because you bums want them to lose, I'm gonna be pissed.
