    Maybe Castro but the two other guys were brought here as part of the rebuilding plan so I don't really see why they would be upset. You don't really see why they would be upset? Really? They're guys who are playing great. For a team that has been playing solid baseball, thus leading them to enjoy the day to day more and maybe having hopes of competing. They've only been on bad teams. They were just made actively worse for the rest of this season. It doesn't mean they're going to pout or demand a trade or say a bunch of negative stuff to the media and I'm sure they understand what the front office is doing. But it's just dumb to say you can't understand why they'd be upset or annoyed by what just happened.

    Because Vogelbach is not close to ready, might not ever be good and might not ever be able to stick at 1B. And Schwarber has not played 1B and is in A ball. And Rizzo is one of the best values in all of baseball.

    I'm going next weekend for at least 2, if not 3 games when they have a split doubleheader on Saturday. Can't wait.

    I was saying that to everyone that listened. After winning game 4, I acted like it was a done deal. And one of the complete [expletive] idiots who was fine with Z losing in Miami because then we could celebrate at Wrigley and I had the option of going to Chicago to be there.

    Good stuff. Much of it is intuitive but the detail is amazing.

    Yeah Patrick was brutal. I also think Ravech has improved a lot. He and Peterson have a pretty good rapport and can have good discussion on overall topics while not straying from the game.

    That Vandy/Texas game was sloppy without a lot of execution. Vandy failed a squeeze attempt with 1 out, 2 strikes and runners at 2nd and 3rd. Turned into an inning ending double play. There were a few great plays but overall it was probably the worst defensive game I've seen in Omaha. Also the downgrade from Kyle Peterson to Aaron Boone is massive.

    Favorite non-Cub as a kid. Loved listening to him talk also. Damn that's too bad.

    I just don't like Castro's backwards lean when he's running hard to 1st on a close play.

    Could be worse, UNC has had 5 recruits drafted, with 2-3 kids still likely to get picked early. Lol make that 6 as I was typing this (Keller) Keller was planning on going to UNC if he didn't get drafted tonight (obviously unless someone later went big on him) and went in the last 10 picks. That's gotta be so frustrating for those coaches.

    Sat consistently 90-92, hit 94 about 5-10 times. Breaking stuff was good but he didn't throw a lot of it. Command wasn't great and they were taking everything, only trying to flip stuff oppo. Ump was bad. Gave up 3 hits (all opposite field singles) and 1 unearned run.

    Not really related but I saw Jim Hendry (along with about 9 other scouts) in Cedar Rapids tonight watching RHP Mitch Keller.
