Alright, I'll settle for a Starlin game-winning HR. -
I've been reading Derek Johnson's book the last week or so and then I watch Hendricks in these last couple starts and it's the manifestation of a lot of chapters. He talks about skill guys vs. ability guys and Hendricks is obviously a skill guy who owns his stuff, trusts what he has and then competes his ass off. He's been fun to watch.

I really hate what MLBN and NFLN have become. They both started out as good, informative channels with more than just the highlights of popular teams/players, but they've both become ESPN lite. MLBN has an exponentially higher number of meatball "analysts" than NFLN, though No they don't. On a related note, Fox Sports 1 has a pretty good group from what I've seen. I really like Kapler and Nitkowski seems pretty good.

July 12th I was all excited to go see an I-Cubs doubleheader. Completely forgetting it was the day before the Futures Game, I got to see Chris Valaika play 2 games at SS (and Mota play 2 at 3B). So at least I won't be as disappointed this time. -
