  1. It's meaingless in the context of these guys playing. How does Milton Bradley being a jerk have ANY bearing of another player stepping into the batter's box and trying to get a hit or throwing a pitch or making a play in the field? Here, I'll answer for you: NONE AT ALL. My point is that the issue of Bradley liking everyone else or everyone liking Bradley is meaningless when it comes time to play. Milton Bradley isn't going to run up and yell nasty things at them or punch them in the throat when it's time to make a play or hit. In the grand scheme of things it IS meaningless if only one guy out of a large group is a jerk and everyone else gets along. Explain to me how ONE guy is sabotaging EVERYONE else and causing them to lose games with his "lack of chemistry." Spare me the nonsense of "pity" because I'm practical and wouldn't try to explain away bad work performance by me and the people around me because we didn't like one guy in the entire workspace and everyone else got along great. So if your boss is a jerk and you truly do not like working for him, you would produce at the same level as if you had your dream job working for your best friend? Are you a robot? Because only those who do not have feelings can say emotions have no effect on anything. Why is this so important to you? Face it. Not everything can be explained by looking at numbers on a page. How people work together is a basic fact of how well they produce as a group. Perhaps this belief is why so many people are lonely. They must feel that they can be just as successful alone as they can by working with people. 2 heads are better than one - Proven fact, not just a cliche.
  2. Have you ever taken a basic communication class or studied small group communication? Clearly not. Everything you say here about chemistry is so ignorant. Basic communication theory and small group communication is extremely important when managing or dealing with other people. It makes me pity the other people in your life that you feel that your communication or "Chemistry" with the other person is as you state "Meaningless".
  3. false harden is also 3 years younger Ha, Ha. You actually believe that Rich Harden is as good as Ben Sheets i tend to believe the truth Which is, as always, in the eye of the beholder. your version of the "truth" is clearly an opinion.
  4. false harden is also 3 years younger Ha, Ha. You actually believe that Rich Harden is as good as Ben Sheets
  5. considering that Sheets is a better pitcher than Harden that is not a good comparison
  6. I will do the seahawks again!
  7. Wow, you are just an idiot aren't you? If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. How ironic...that's exactly what I say but yet I am persecuted for it
  8. Wow, you are just an idiot aren't you?
  9. ok so apparently no one saw my post at the bottom of page 2 (or more than likely ignored it) but I really dont get the bashing of Carroll. Is it just jealousy? Somehow the guy reborn the USC program and because it wasn't the school you root for he is a whore monger and the program need SMU (whatever that means). I realize that it must be the "cool" thing to do but really, stop trying to be cool. There is a point where it is just plain mean and inherently wrong as a human being. Bullying should NEVER be OK, even if it is on a an anonymous web posting board
  10. Ok so as the resident Seahawks fan, Mora was on a "Warm" seat. I think that he possibly could have stayed if they were able to get a GM that knew something but when The Philly GM fell through (He's with Holmgren now) and with the big names out there not jumping at the opening, the SEahawks can go get a better coach than they originally thought. Mora made some dome decisions this year that never sat well with fans, media or players. He lost the team when the whole Kicker is an idiot thing and his devotion to Julius Jones when Justin Forsett is clearly better was ridiculous. Tim Ruskell (Former GM) is a pretty good draft scout but a horrible talent evaulator with Free Agents. Mora had no idea what to do with the talent he had and his offensive scheme never worked for the team. The Seahawks were built for a pass first option but Mora never bought into it. As for Carroll, Count me in the interested camp. I understand the negatives about him and the reason for the general dislike of him on this baord but now is the perfect time for the Seahawks to experiment. They have 2 good first round spots and really have an aging team that needs loads of help. Someone can come in and overhaul it and the fans would have little expectations since we all realize the team needs a shakeup anyway. I would enjoy watching Carroll experiment and you never know, it could be a good thing. Imagine Carroll, Bates and than a trade for Leinart. I would be OK with that and draft picks of Trent Williams/Eric Berry and CJ Spiller and I think the Seahawks have a start.
  11. so anyone else feel bad for The Trailblazers. Of course I am biased but still, All players on that team except Andre Miller has dealt with some sort of injury this season. UGH
  12. Translation, They've done the "What if" scenario without names like GM's do on the radio when they can't discuss another player on someone else's team.
  13. Question in all seriousness (and It will probably get lost amongst all of the angry posts)... What will it take from Silva for this trade to turn into something similar to the Karros/Grudz for Hundley trade? While Karros and Grudz were both better players at the time of the trade, it was not a good looking deal at the time. If Silva was able to muster 150 innings with a 4.25 era, 1.3 WHIP, 6K per 9, 3BB per 9 how would the trade look? Also, are any of the predicitions sites out yet with their stuff?
  14. so serious question. How does Sandberg get better as a manager? Who is there to guide is learning? I towuld seem more logical for him to get the experience managing in the minors then spend a year under Lou to learn what it takes at the Big League level. Sandberg would probably be good at Quade's Job
  15. was harden worth the 7 million he earned in 2009 statistically speaking?
  16. i would imagine that there is a larger gap in managing in the minors vs. the majors than there is in actually playing in the minors vs. the majors. It would be conceivable that a manager would make different decisions based upon lessons needing to be learned in the minors vs. what is best for the win. The Minors are about learning, not winning.
  17. Sorry, I dont get it. 10 Million to 2 pitchers likely to throw a total of 125-135 innings, both over the hill and coming off of dehabiliating injuries and this is a good deal?
  18. Please apply mine (if there are any) to the general pot for next year. Any Extra will be just that for the end of the year or for any billing issues
  19. I will go on record and say this a very bad deal. 7 Million for a guy who will give you 70 IP or so? Seems illogical. Also, to bet 7 mil on a player who played well in the last month of a season in a brand new league against inferior (call ups and out of it teams) does not equate to domination. Not a good allocation of funds
  20. if 4.4 speed to 1st is below average, what are the averages and a good mix of players that run faster than that? Now this statement may seem somewhat ludicrious but while playing MLB2K it does the "time to 1B" deal and anyone at 4.4 seems to have an above 80 speed rating which is pretty good. I relaize its a video game but percentages and such make an 80 rating above average right?
  21. Didnt he had a pretty good season with Tampa Bay the year before?
  22. Does anyone have an updated list?
  23. This sitaution just reminds me of the Hundley for Karros deal.
  24. Its so nice to have Matt Hasselbeck back....oh yeah, the seahawks can be a good team when some of the better players like Hass and Lofa are playing. Lucky Bears...
  25. I would rather have Kim Ng than any of these retreads...
