I was watching their podcast earlier and Sharma and Mooney don't think the Cubs will bring Seiya back. They think he's priced himself out of the Cubs range with his performance this season and that they wouldn't match a 5 year deal if he got it from someone (which he probably will). Lame.

I'm bored and tuning into this Sox/Guardians game and it's shocking that Stephen Vogt won back-to-back manager of the year awards. It's one bad decision after the other with this guy. MLB writers and media shouldn't be voting on any of these awards it should be MLB players and coaches only

Holmes hasn't pitched in like 3 months against big leaguers... his struggles were kinda expected. Hopefully the offense can string together better ABs and make it interesting

True, but I don't blame them for trying to use him when they have a 4 run lead to save the rest of the pen... at least, I'm trying to rationalize it lol. Guy is horrible though

I'm sure they are just waiting for Cabrera to get activated before sending Thielbar on his way... it was a good run but it's time for him to retire

If I recall correctly he got a crack at it in the STL series in the late innings of a blowout.

Happ's last 50 ABs have been downright awful. 21 strikeouts, sub .118 batting average. There is no reason for him to be getting meaningful ABs anymore.

Guardians* lol. But in any event it feels good to watch them piss away that division. It'll be funny if and when the Cubs turn them into a sub .500 team in a few weeks.
