He's definitely getting a bit lucky... but I would be disappointed if they took him out of the rotation.
In his last 5 starts:
28.2 IP, 1.57 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, 20 K's and 10 walks
No reason to break it while it's hot...
A large part of Happ's value is his defense in LF, which is probably the easiest defensive position to play. Not to mention that Seiya had to spend nearly all of 2025 being a DH. What would the comparison be if Happ had to spend an entire season at DH and Suzuki got to spend his career in LF? It wouldn't be close. I don't think it's recency bias to say that Suzuki is clearly better.
