    Sing it! This is one of the posts that makes me think no one has a clue what the hell is going on right now. Adding the greatest free agent of all-time just so you can downgrade the team around him is borderline psychotic.

    Ehh generally I take the worst case scenarios in life and try to adjust. Then, if it turns out the other way it’s an extra happy moment! Having said that, I hope that if we don’t get him Jed already knows and can move on. He’s a huge addition to any teams payroll and the teams that are in the running can’t do anything else until they know. It would be better to know now and pivot than find out in a week.

    It feels like Soto to the Yankees is a foregone conclusion at this point. I don’t see them on Ohtani and I think Hal will go nuclear if they don’t get a few big names to appease that fan base. Makes Ohtani very important for us.

    Yeah man, Im still bitter about it to be honest. Many of us had been posting there for 15-20 years and stayed even when the site traffic went way down. Can’t remember if you’re a hawks fan, but during the start of the Kane/Toews era that hawks forum was popping. A few years later it was a ghost town. But on the cubs forum we held on and held on and then they give us four days notice. Really shabby site. Yet, with the winter meetings coming I can’t help but still reminisce and miss it.

    I remember Scherzer told reporters that one of the reasons he agreed to waive his ntc was because the Mets were “taking a step back” in 2024. But I did notice some rumblings on twitter within the last week of them maybe getting involved. I just can’t see them staying out of this. Having said that, I forgot to add the incumbent Angels in my team picks
