    They really need to put in some deadlines for free agency. All other leagues do it. Don't understand why baseball doesn't. The NFL/NBA free agency is incredibly exciting. MLBs used to be. Maybe this is rose tinted glasses but I recall the winter meetings being the most exciting time of FA. Now it's just boring and annoying.

    Always loved Zambrano and his antics. Dude cracked me up and was a great pitcher. If Dusty hadnt killed him in 03 I think he could have been something even better

    I'd imagine we would be in on Soto next year when he's an FA anyway. Id guess the asking price was too high for Jed.

    I'm so hesitant to give up Alcantara for anything at the moment. His ceiling is just so high if he hits it.

    I love Bichette but i'm not giving up Horton, PCA or Alcantara for him. I'm borderline on including Cassie in that list too. I think the Cubs have the prospect depth to get a deal done without having to move any of those guys imo.

    Every Triantos AB is fun to watch. Kid has a great hit tool. Hope the power comes next season. Probably would still trade him in the right deal.

    I'm all for YY. 25 year old's are the players I like handing out contracts too. Pitchers are always a risk. I'm guessing he ends up on the west coast though. I'd be all over him and Soto this offseason.
