  1. Looks like a really crappy day today. Seiya was booking it there.
  2. Nice! Horton looks like he's 80% of the way back to himself. Hope to see the command come back with a few more innings under his belt and no rain. The stuff looks filthy
  3. He seems pretty down to earth. We havent really gotten a chance to see that side yet. God please extend him
  4. All reports are that hes a hard worker. With reps, I can see him becoming a good defensive 3B, but I see your point. Worst comes to worst he shifts to 2B. Good problem to have
  5. Agree. I think we will see a bit more if that until the game starts to slow down a little for him. Im really excited about his future.
  6. I think its more rookie adjustments. I like how Shaw has been playing..hes gonna make mistakes but they are gonna pay off in the long run. Hes gonna be a cornerstone piece for us for a long time. Ive got a lot of faith in him and PCA.
  7. Hell of a deal for Boston if he stays healthy
  8. Oakland's offense honestly doesnt look half bad.
  9. I just did. Palencia is a much better relief prospect than Pearson. We already know what Pearson is and its bad. Dump him and move on to the next man up. If Palencia is bad, dump him move on to the next guy. All of these guys except Hodge should be on very short leashes.
  10. I'm not worried about Pressley just yet but I will admit to being nervous. Having Hodge ready to compete for the closer role eases my nerves but Pressley needs to get it together. I'm all for signing Robertson either way.
  11. im not gonna panic about the bullpen yet. Outside of the Morgan meltdown and Pressley looking mediocre, I still have faith in this group. Hodge looked dominant and Thielbar flashed some good stuff. Pearson can go though, dude just has zero idea where the ball is going to end up when it leaves his hand. I'd really like to see Ethan Roberts or Palencia up for him.
  12. Personally, my conspiracy theory is that Jed's idiotic plan is to let Tucker walk at the end of the year and he's hoping one of Cassie or Alcantara claims RF with their performance this season. They will make some low ball offer to Tucker to say that they tried and then TR will cry poor.
  13. If Matt McClain stays healthy this year, I think he is gonna be scary this season for the Reds. Good player. I can see a world where the Reds are competitive.
  14. Yeah I'm not concerned about spring stats. These guys arent really pitching how they typically would in a game. They are likely working on different things.
  15. I feel like the Cubs always like having their prospects play multiple positions in the minors. I feel like that was a Theo directive. I remember when Teho took over he mentioned in an interview once that he wanted guys to be able to play multiple positions.
  16. God, I really want the Cubs to develop one of these international super prospects. I'd like to have a top 5 prospect in the game once again. It looks like the Brewers have two more of them potentially in the pipeline as well with Jesus Made and Luis Pena.
  17. I can see that. He has the frame to pack more muscle than Bellinger I think. Love the tools. Im hoping that two year burn is what happens with Chris Paciolla this year
