    Id like to see Brown moved to the bullpen. Not shutting the door on him starting but when Shota comes back I want Horton to stay in the rotation. Brown can really add another dynamic arm to the pen and still work on developing that command and 3rd pitch. They could also just keep him stretched out and piggy back him with Horton as well for innings management.

    Im confident Long's bat is going to play in the MLB. His ceiling will be determined by in game power and what he can play defensively.

    I brought him up a couple months back thinking he was a free agent at the end of the season. Im not too interested in him with two years left on that deal.

    Id trade Wicks before Wiggins to be honest. Wiggins has the frontline starter profile I love. Hes worth keeping imo.

    I'm hoping they go college hitter in the first. They just seem to have success going that route. I do hope they continue the trend of taking guys with great raw power and that 11th round high school bat but I do expect another pitcher heavy one. The top of this draft seems to be pretty heavy with guys that can hit the snot out of the ball but need refining for in game power.

    Gotcha. Thanks. I wasnt able to see any highlights yesterday. I like the line. Command and control are the things I monitor the most with him. How did that look?

    I mean if this is what a Kyle Tucker slump looks like. Sign me up because despite his weakish contact lately, he's still creating runs and opportunities for the Cubs.

    Long has really been impressive. 3 for 4 now with 5 RBI's. Outstanding pick by the Cubs.

    I'm manifesting Jack Bauer, Number 24, Cubs 2029 Cy young Ace into existence. Also big fan of Neyens still, I think he can stick at 3B and I love power prospects. Quentin Young is very interesting to me and has MLB bloodlines. Cant rule out Devin Taylor either. Still a huge fan of Dean Curley too. That swing is quick and gorgeous. He gets his hands to the ball so fast with control and has excellent strike zone discipline.

    Yeah, I wish Lovich was at Myrtle Beach right now. Not putting a damper on his progress, its encouraging but I think he should be in full season ball right now. Big fan of his.

    Completely fair. Cant really find anything I disagree with you on there. Id be for him as well.

    Gotcha. That makes sense. Everything ive read on him seems to think hes got a good shot sticking at 3rd but like you said it comes down to whether Kantrovitz sees him moving to 1B. I just love that potential 70 power grade ive seen a few times on him.

    What do you think of Neyens? I love his power potential and that he's a lefty 3B.

    I think he's getting promoted ASAP. Let him end his last start at South Bend with a dominant performance and start a new challenge with sky high confidence. I can definitely see him being an option in the pen in September.

    Just wish he could play 3B. I'm a fan but right now he feels like a bat only prospect that needs quite a bit of development defensively.
