Gotta think Alcantara is trade bait at this point. The Cubs have one, maybe two, big trades in them and I think Alcantara would be the centerpiece. -
Lol this strike zone is wild. I don't think I've ever seen balls that high called as strikes. Especially more than one.

Getsy doesn't tell him to hold on to the ball forever, take a massive amount of sacks and suck in the 4th quarter. I bet you blamed all of mitch's struggles on Nagy too.

Fields isnt the guy you pass on drafting a QB with two straight 1st overall picks. He's not nearly special enough and he absolutely blows ass in the 4th quarter.

If this is actually true it makes me feel a little better, I really need to know that ricketts is willing to sign someone to a mega contract because that's what it's looking like it's going to take if you want to be a consistent contender (unless you are the Brewers or Rays which are the exception)

So with Ohtani out of the way this is what I was kinda thinking. Re-sign Belly Sign Hoskins Trade some of the prospect depth for pitching (another starter and back end bullpen guy would be great)

F****** reds getting the second pick is nauseating. At least the Cubs got a slightly better pick than what their record would indicate. White Sox and Cardinals kind of got screwed so I'm fine with that.
