    Fields isnt the guy you pass on drafting a QB with two straight 1st overall picks. He's not nearly special enough and he absolutely blows ass in the 4th quarter.

    If this is actually true it makes me feel a little better, I really need to know that ricketts is willing to sign someone to a mega contract because that's what it's looking like it's going to take if you want to be a consistent contender (unless you are the Brewers or Rays which are the exception)

    So with Ohtani out of the way this is what I was kinda thinking. Re-sign Belly Sign Hoskins Trade some of the prospect depth for pitching (another starter and back end bullpen guy would be great)

    F****** reds getting the second pick is nauseating. At least the Cubs got a slightly better pick than what their record would indicate. White Sox and Cardinals kind of got screwed so I'm fine with that.

    Lee was my guy too. Like others, can't say I'm unhappy with Horton currently even with Lee being pretty good.

    I am fine with a project, I'm just not fine with a project pitching in crucial situations during a playoff run. I gotta imagine that's the last time you see him in non mop up duty, atleast I hope.
