  1. Lol sureeee. Just like a week ago it a was just a "change in approach" Wiggins seems even more fragile than Horton. Honestly can he just get the TJ now and get it over with?
  2. Get Mathis to High A. Guy needs to be in deeper waters so we can see if he can actually swim.
  3. Fantastic. Well that absolutely kills this team's ceiling.
  4. Gonna be very hard to make a deep run in a talented NL without your ace and Boyd looking like he will battle injury all year (likes he done every year but last year) Impossible? Nah, but I am not betting on it.
  5. Yep. Move him to bullpen and get it over with. Maybe he can end up being a high leverage stud.
  6. It usually never does. Baseball/medical people have no idea how to avoid arm injuries. They're just throwing stuff at the wall to see what will stick. Cade Horton has been babied the second he came to this organization and its done absolutely nothing.
  7. All I needed to hear was Horton had tears in his eyes and I knew it was bad bad. Hes been injured before, he knows how it feels, so when he reacts like that you know its no good.
  8. Yea and the Cubs have Counsell 10 mil thinking he was the reason lol
  9. Yeah there goes any chance of any kind of deep run. Pinning your hopes on arms like Horton and Boyd always had a high potential of blowing up in your face. Only chance now is if Steele comes back and dominates, but that probably wouldn't even be enough.
  10. Yea the Kelly last year was a complete fluke, just like the version of PCA we saw. Gonna be some real rough regressions this year.
  11. Bad loss. Up 3-0 in the 7th and you piss down your leg. Looks like milwaukee is still doing milwaukee things. Kind of feeling like last year again early on. Sigh.
  12. What's more of a joke? Ben brown's pitching or his goofball face? Big eared bitch.
  13. Season is far from over, obviously, but I can't say I love the outlook. Major part of the Cub success last year was their first half. Alot of that success came from having a top 10 player in all of baseball through June ( Tucker) and getting an unreal first half from PCA. Either these things aren't happening again. Now add in Horton is probably out for a long time? I dont have the warm and fuzzies.
  14. There is no unleashing Cade Horton. The kid is made of glass. He will have to be agonizingly babied his whole career.
  15. Its his arm. Dude doesn't come off the mound with tears in his eyes because his hammy is hurt. Hes horsefeathered and so are the cubs.
  16. This is why I could never get too excited about Horton. Its always been something with him, ever since college. Dude is a walking injury. There goes any potential for a deep run. Fantastic.
  17. No more Conforto please. Play Shaw until Seiya comes back.
