  1. The Hartshorn slump is officially here. Man, I really hope the kid wasn't just a quick flash in the pan. This system needs a stud badly.
  2. They were up 3-0 in the 6th too. horsefeathers worthless.
  3. Challenged the wrong pitch. That 3-1 wasn't even close.
  4. Amazing win and amazing game to be at. Wrigley North was rocking. Oh and Alex Bregman still sucks.
  5. Well, that pitching matchup is about as depressing as it gets.
  6. Totally normal. Dont even think about questioning the medical staff.
  7. Fire every single person on this medical staff yesterday. This is outrageous.
  8. What about Nico? Hes been damn near as bad. I actually think Nico might be hurt, though. I don't think i've ever seen him look this bad. His last at bat last night was pathetic. He swung at a ball two feet out of the zone that's not Nico like. I wish Shaw was a little more sound at SS. Because if he was, I would give him and Ramirez a lot of run over the next couple weeks.
  9. Tough getting picked off but seeing a cycle is so awesome.
  10. Im down, if you fire Jed first. Im not letting that twat anywhere near another rebuild. Sadly hes going nowhere.
  11. Scoring 5 runs in 2 games at Coors Field against a complete dogshit team should be an arrestable offense. Like someone from the Cubs should be legally held responsible for that.
  12. Is Ethan Conrad going to play this year? I love seeing Kane and Hartshorn killing it but imagine how much nicer it would be if the first rounder from that class could actually get on the field.
  13. I was stoked when they signed Bregman, no problem admitting it (I also really dont pay close attention to the mlb outside the cubs) But in hindsight, giving a guy a 5 year 175 million dollar deal when all those years are going to be outside of his physical prime (26-31 years old) is just insane. The Heyward deal was bad, but atleast he was only 26 when he signed. The Dansby deal is bad but he was atleast 29 with a few more years of conceivable prime left him. Bregman was/is 32...
  14. Right? Atleast he had a personality. Bregman seems as interesting and sociable as a wet carrot. I was at the game on Thursday and inbetween innings on the video board they had a cute segment with a bunch of kids asking Bregman questions and the guy couldn't have been more dry and awkward, everything was a one word answer with a goofy uncomfortable giggle. It was cringe as hell. This guy must really turn it on when the cameras are off.Because I have no idea how he could be considered a vocal leader.
