  1. The Trib doesnt have the article up yet, but I explained a little more in another post. When the article comes out Ill post it. But he doesnt think he deserves to be bood. i see that now. i was sure he was just saying he heard the fans and knew that he sucked, this just blows me away. i guess it's time to start the move to run him out of town, should be fun Right after signing? Oh God, this could really start to suck. things could get really hilariously bad pretty easily. everything will be cool if zambrano can avoid sucking for a little while, but if he has a couple more bad starts and keeps getting booed, who knows what will happen.

  3. wait, what did he say? im confused. i was really hoping this wouldn't become a big thing. oh well.
  4. he hit the ball hard his first two at bats.
  5. i sure am glad juice got killed just as soon as he started playing great f mizzou
  6. it's important to note that when hendry finally got the chance to go after the Top FA, he gave an 8 year contract to a guy who is OPSing 847 as a 31 year old. EDIT: OPSing 847 as a 31 year old and very much meeting expectations, i should add.
  7. one thing i've not seen mentioned seen mentioned is the pitcher. valverde is an excellent strikeout pitcher (nearly 11 k/9) and gets few groundballs (.72 g/f ratio). taking this information into account, i think it's clear that this move was a bad one.
  8. hopefully his leg falls off and he never plays again
  9. LOOKIN GOOD Z no hitter tonight, i can feel it
  10. they should just play spoon songs every game
  11. veteran leadership, helping out his buddy marmol

  15. gale sayers sure does talk up his own individual stats a lot for a guy who longs for the good old days
  16. blah blah blah gale sayers is an old crank
  17. I'd be shocked if Wisconsin finishes fifth. Behind who... Michigan, PSU, OSU and who, Iowa??? I-L-L L-O-L
  18. who the hell is dumatrait we better not lose
  19. pitchers use the ball to hurt batters all the time, it's only fair that hitters return the favor
  20. hahahaha, so you're saying cardinals are absolute dogcrap except for when they won the last world series im pretty sure it's completely legitimate to complain about the cardinals being lucky last year and this, especially when you see that until recently they were being outscored by nearly 100 runs on the season and remained in contention. let's just look at your previous post. pitcher killed himself, his fault larussa driving drunk, his fault spezio's drug addiction, his fault pujols' numbers down slightly, not that big of a deal, and for the love of god look at derrek lee before you try to get sympathy there carpenter has been on borrowed time forever, you were lucky to get what you did from him mulder hasn't returned from a torn rotator cuff as quickly as you would like? you really expected to get a lot of him this year? sorry about your setup man, ill give you that your 37 year old, injury prone center fielder isn't aging particularly well? shocking. and rolen looked crap at the end of last year too. he's not the same guy anymore, but that's why 8-year contracts are a bad idea. the cardinals haven't really been all that unlucky this year at all, and when you look at guys like duncan who just magically start hitting with the major league team but not elsewhere, it's just silly to think that you're going to come in here and act like you've been dealt a tough hand.
