    i dont have class until late on thursday. im going to drink during the game. my drunkenness will be directly proportional to the cubs suckiness. i hope the cubs don't kill me, but if this is how i am to go, i will go.

    i say we have a +/- stat for pitchers. look at how many runs their team scores and allows while they are in the game. sound stupid? of course. but it'd be better than wins and losses.

    It's not stupid. I know you want to get into an argument about the true value of W-L, but really, 15-13? Not happening, and even you have to concede that. The mass population would revolt. and that's stupid too. so is your face. takes 1 2 no 1 the fact that people would be upset that a guy with a 15-13 record won the cy young really is stupid, though.

    Still seems off because of the running out of another game, but, the Cubs beat a bottom feeder team, as they should have and the Brewers beat a better team that they were predicted to lose against. that's correct, and there's a longer explanation here
