You can get by with 2 pitches....but you have to locate way better than Brown does.

Didn't the Twins get accused of turning some indoor fans on or off depending on if they were batting or fielding in the Metrodome
  3. I owned a Suzuki
Oops, quoted the wrong thing i guess
  4. I owned a Suzuki
Who didn't the Cubs get that would currently improve the offense?
  5. I owned a Suzuki
8.5 runs was the total today. I put a few beans on under. Offensive explosion guaranteed
  6. I owned a Suzuki
Thats got to be the low point?
  7. I owned a Suzuki
He pinch hit against a Lefty inning before. Which led to this.
  8. I owned a Suzuki
I kind of get it, but how many lefty relievers do the Pirates have? Turner is a big decline against a mighty coming later
  9. I owned a Suzuki
    1 run seems so insurmountable
  10. I owned a Suzuki
It's actually more than I ever expected. Stallions has been outwardly arrogant about this from the get go....probably knowing eventually it would end up being almost nothing. Also, to irritate the heck out of Spartan and Buckeye fans

Hope the wind is really blowing out. I dont care if the Cubs lose 18-15. Just build some confidence back in the offense.

Living in the Champaign area, I've noticed Illinois fans seem more reluctant about being ranked 12th than others. I think they have a legit shot at making the playoffs
  13. I owned a Suzuki
I think Turner should have hit for Busch. Wasted 2 bat's for 1 pinch hit

    Kyle Heyward Tucker

How Canadian is wearing 19....tough out
  16. I owned a Suzuki
I usually hate small ball, but the way the offense has been going it didn't bother me
  17. I owned a Suzuki
I would wager a good hunk of money that the Cubs make the playoffs. The offense will get back on track, not early season track but better than recent.
  18. I owned a Suzuki
5 pages, I see I wasn't the only one to take a day off from the Cubs

Counter theory. Signing Tucker will hamper the Cubs ability to resign or sign other players for several years. So having a productive minor league system producing cost controlled will be important. In my counter theory, Happ or Suzuki would have to be traded. Which would be difficult, but its my counter theory
  20. I owned a Suzuki
    Double clicked
  21. I owned a Suzuki
I get the idea of having a speed guy onthe bench. but the Cubs have good team speed. Berti just does not add much value.
  22. I owned a Suzuki
I have never gotten the idea that you have to be buyers or sellers. Making yourself better should be the goal.
  23. I owned a Suzuki
When Brock played and elected to the Hall, the things he did well were valued way more than they are now. His poor defense was not held against him that much. Plus he was a World Series hero.
  24. I owned a Suzuki
ZZ has done radio the last 2 days..I was wondering the same thing about the commute for Pat
  25. I owned a Suzuki
Didn't He trade Mervis for him?
