  1. Several yrs ago I had a job that gave me an IPhone for work use. AppleTV was part of the deal. I dont have the job or phone anymore....but still have AppleTV
  2. I know this is perception, but the Padres seem to win every off season and trade deadline.....but never actually win anything
  3. I still have 84 as my second favorite. Not sure how old you are, but it was such a huge deal to make the postseason for the 1st time in 40 yrs.
  4. It worked for Michigan in 23
  5. I wouldn't underestimate how much pollsters are going to overestimate FSU
  6. Good for them. Hope B1G goes back to doing it.
  7. The 2 biggest games yesterday were boring. Thats my biggest take from week 1. Prediction for next week, Alabama will not drop as far as they should, Florida St will be ranked much higher than they should
  8. For the extra bat in Sept, I wouldn't mind. No way both him and Turner could make a playoff roster.
  9. Next year when they go to 9 conference games
  10. 20ish yrs ago I enjoyed the last hour of Gameday. It has steadily gone downhill since its beginning though. I won't ever go, but I think it would be cool if Illinois is undefeated when they play OSU and finally get it
  11. I just seen that 4 B1G teams played last night. I had no clue. Not sure how this fairs for my favorite conference.
  12. I like Texas because they have a QB with some experience. Plus I think OSU seems to struggle a bit early season, while I think Texas seems to peak early. ND, no great reason why except recent results
  13. I know Im getting old. But college pregame shows deteriorating from Corso to Portnoy and McAfee says a lot about who views these shows. This is not an endorsement of Corso, though he used to be pretty solid.
  14. This. Same as Zach Zaidman on radio. Its good business to develop talent, but it is also good business to bring in better talent if the in house guys aren't up to standards. I think all parties involved realize a cookie cutter play by play guy will not work for the Cubs.
  15. It is also possible it is very effective because of its usage rates. Higher usage could very well reduce its effectiveness
  16. Can they? Does the B1G set the conference schedule? Can they tell the B1G to leave that week open every year? I dont know the answer but I suspect its a lot harder with a 9 game conference schedule
  17. I know the Rickets political leanings, but I am still shocked they let such a divisive character on the field. Most smart businesses avoid this kind of political discourse
  18. Stop trying to coddle the anti-coddlers. If they cant deal with a different opinion on a message board, they will never succeed in real life.
  19. If the Cubs were winning 7-0 and Tucker wasn't struggling, no one would have even noticed. When a team and/or player are struggling things like that get magnified. I do think that the reason he didn't run was was the real issue. He is mentally down. He needed benched for a bit,
