    Did Harbaugh bang his GF in college? I dont think the reputation thing is that big of a deal. CFB fans are going to hate certain schools no matter what, this is just something else they can hate Michigan about. I have noticed that outside of ESPN this really doesnt seem like a big deal to anyone.

    I always wondered if the Cubs were totally oblivious to the fact that the DH was coming the next year? I cannot fathom how they thought it was okay to let Schwarber go if they knew they only had to have him play LF full time 1 more year.

    Play calling is overrated, execution is underrated-Tom Osborne(I think)

    exactly. Why would they do anything to show their hand against what they have played? Also, not to sound stupid, how would the other team know? From what I have read about the MLB/Astro cheating scandal their was actual video evidence of the cheat. Does some team have actual video evidence? Or is it just, How did they know we were doing a naked bootleg pass?

    The thinking on bat weight has changed drastically in my lifetime. I could probably research this and be more exact, but I would imagine the average bat weight in MLB is down at least 2 oz since the late 70s. Combine that with hitters staying in better shape have caused pitchers and how teams thought about pitching to adjust.

    Ha. Boston is very hard to judge right now. Lost a ton from last years historically great team, but still have a lot of really good pieces. Bedard is fun to watch. His goal was something, he really looks like all that has been advertised.

    I think its more likely that Tauchman returns than Wisdom. Though I would bet both will be on the opening day roster

    This may be crazy but I would rather sign Hader than pay top free agent dollars on one of the starters.

    Maryland seems to always look really good early in the season but fade quickly when they get into the teeth of their schedule. But really experienced QB could make the difference here. I don't think OSU offense is good enough to hide, leaving the door open for a good Maryland offense to sneak one out

    Shocking thing I learned on todays grid....only 3 players ever have played for the Tigers and have gotten 3000 hits

    I think a great example of this is defense. For a long time Sabermetrics didn't have good enough tools to really quantify players defense. So the perception was that Sabermetrics did not value defense or think that it was important to a players overall value. But as tools have progressed to to help judge and quantify defense better, the value of good defensive players shows through so much better in Sabermetrics or advanced statistics and analysis.

    My bigger frustration is he should have been here since opening day already working past some of the issues he was going to eventually run into
