i just don't see how everyone thinks rose will be this great distributor. he's definitely the most athletic point guard i've seen in a long time, perhaps the strongest as well, but he's not near a sure thing for the league. even if he's an amazing point guard, like marbury, that doesn't mean he will lead us anywhere. i think we missed out on beasley.
i had an argument with a sox fan about crede vs. ramirez and it was the easiest argument i ever had. i mentioned the discrepancy in ops and he said that ops+ was a better indicator, so i posted the discrepancy in their ops+, then he said that weighted ops was a better metric, so i weighted obp at 1.2 and posted the discrepancy. he stopped responding after that. the sheer fact that some people would choose crede over ramirez is a testament to the truthiness of the game of baseball.
Link. oh my goodness... :yahoo: i don't know if that should elicit such an emoticon. he says that all the time, that's like his standard line of bs. money is not prospects, most teams want prospects in addition to money in return for their talent.
i was so pissed i threw my guitar on the floor and broke it and then i went to the music store to get the part i needed to fix it and when i came back they already won.
i got 30,000,000 on pac-man and i was up all night doing math problems at my buddy's house the night before. oh, and i beat contra without the code and i know plenty of really good gamers who never did well on that game. to me, it was a big wank, though.
Wow. Sweet. $18Mil guaranteed. Highest paid DT in NFL history. If he's even 90% healthy, he's worth it. every dt that signs a contract is the highest paid dt in league history for a while, though. same goes for every other position. regardless of how high he is paid over the next year or 2, he will doubtless require a renegotiation. but that said, this is very good news.
they are hardly a better team, just much much luckier. if they think that their luck will luck them into the playoffs, they've got another thing coming.
i think it's totally asinine to accept him now if you haven't already. why stop being a meatball at this point? but then again, i wouldn't be surprised if he becomes super-duper beloved among the superfans, either.
