  1. I got married. Oh, you mean for the Cubs.
  2. Oh yeah, real sweet. agreed
  3. No prob..... I'll open it to everyone else, then. If you want 3 bleacher tickets to the 8/21 game, let me know.
  4. I've got 3 bleachers for that game that I don't want. You'd have to pick up 3 more from somewhere else (i.e. ebay).
  5. You and Pedro are drinking from the same Kool Aid, and its apparently spiked with Angel Dust. I thought it was clear I was being facetious. It was, I was just having some fun. I see, and for what it's worth -- there was a little sumthin'-sumthin' in what I had for lunch. You had a prostitute for lunch?
  6. Receptionist: How do you write women so well? Melvin: Easy. I think of a man, and I take away reason and accountability. Although yours worked just fine also.
  7. If you are directing that at me..I dont necissarilly think he does. but I think he will still be here in '07 unless he retires...I dont think he will be traded. Ah, so you were referring to the franchise's opinion that he has future value to the franchise. In that case, I agree with you.
  8. Maddux has future value to the franchise?
  9. I'm in 98th with an ESPN of 307. Jacque Jones is my only hitter with a negative score, and my infield (Brad Ausmus, Bernie Williams, Kaz Matsui, Angel Berroa, Vinny Castilla) is stunningly bad, with those 5 compiling an ESPN of 233 all on their own.
  10. Ground balls, baserunners, infielders. All of which the warning track does not typically have. But then again, if you could pick one team that would end up with those three things on the warning track, it would be the 2006 Cubs.
  11. Looks like I might have to make a trip up to Lansing on July 23rd. :D Heres to "The Shark" having a really bad yr, and falls into the 4th rd or worse in the draft. Here's to the Shark having a really bad year and Notre Dame finishing below .500 and out of the bowl picture. I'll toast to that! I'll toast to PSU starting them down that road.
  12. Teeeeheheheeeeeee. You think you could even TALK to a GM?!?!?! They ride around in FLYING CARS and pee liquid GOLD and converse only in Latin SIGN LANGUAGE! They know ALLLLL!!! Please tell me who you think the great Todd could play for. The Cubs. About the only team he could. Hopefully, not for long. I'm just glad you're not GM then. And considering there's not many people I'd fear worse than Hendry running the team, take it for what it's worth. Bwahahahahaha. Like you know what being a GM means. Being a GM means knowing how good a player will be by seing one swing at age 11.5! Being a GM means sitting in seat 1A on United Flight 1 and STILL not being satisfied! Being a GM means finding the BEST possible guy to train your second basemen in the rarified art of bunt hitting, and then doing ancient rituals involving a ram's SPLEEN in order to insure that your training will be succcessful!

  14. the pudgy old guy batboy
  15. still already had his shot, dude.
  16. Is that aimed at me? I just think some of the argument are, well, crap.
  17.        x infinity. Whatever, I don't see how you can defend him, he's not a good fielder. Today's game not withstanding, the attacks on his defense are VASTLY overdone. VASTLY. That's just ridiculous. He's one of the worst 2B at turning the double play. I'm tired of the argument about his fielding percentage because that doesn't tell the story. He doesn't get to most balls and, again, he usually doesn't position himself well enough to turn the DP which is crucial for his position. His reputation is well earned (and judging by the Cubs inability to move him in the offseason, other teams feel that his offense does not outweigh his defensive miscues). NEVIN! Walker's offense isn't that good either Are you joking? You must be joking. He's conistetnly been one of the top 5 offensive 2B in the game over the last few years. His only knock offensively is that he struggles against lefties. You really must be kidding. It's a joke right? Yeah, you can make the argument for Walker, but all you're allowed to use is batting average, homers and RBIs, because all other stats mean diddly squat. Now try and make the argument, lawl at dusty, you young whippersnapper punk. Well, so me where you think is a top five? In what? Only your secretive selective stats? http://www.sportsline.com/mlb/playerrankings/regularseason/2B OOOoooo, way to support yourself! With a list he's not even on, not to mention one that uses only stats from this year! Not to mention one that has this little gem: Keep in mind batters are penalized for games missed and pitchers need to meet innings pitched criteria to make the list. But I give you credit for trying to expand your horizons.
  18. It said "embarrassed Cubs fan" I think. EDIT: Disgruntled, not embarrassed

  20. You gotta get the 75% "good" appearances from somewhere, right?
