At the beginning of this inning, I got on the elliptical machine and told myself to go as hard as I could, since it wouldn't last very long. 22 minutes and 4 pitchers later, I'm having trouble seeing.

Ok, hematomas are localized bleeding from burst blood vessels. For example, when you get conked in the head and it starts bleeding inside your cranium and they have to drill a hole to let the pressure out, that's a subdural hematoma. let's hope there was less drilling in this case.

When no one else could tackle in the first half, he was all over the field knocking people over. I <3 Zibby. As for the helmet to helmet, I heard not a whimper out of Musburger, May and Corso, who all hate Notre Dame, about it. Reputation call perhaps, but still illegal. You have to be kidding me that Musberger hates Notre Dame. He spent the entire first half talking about how Georgia Tech better put up more points, because Notre Dame would come out of its funk in a big way soon. No credit to the tech defense whatsoever.

I parlayed BSU at -5 1/2 and the under at 52. Hopefully it keeps raining. PSU fans, will they cover with Akron, at -17? I am very tempted to take Akron in this, but I am not sure why. There's too many question marks on the PSu team, where you don't know which way they'll go. If pressed, I'd take Akron to cover, but frankly, I'd stay the hell away from it altogether.

Wasn't the guy that was supposed to be Notre Dame's #1 receiver last year injured for the whole year and that's the reason Samardzija was the starter? If so, who knows what would have happened last year with Samardzija at WR if the guy wasn't hurt. McKnight got hurt during the Michigan game. As for as being number one, I think it was supposed to be Stovall anyway, not McKnight (could be wrong). Either way Samardzija would have been the #3 receiver, but I think he made a pretty good case for a move up during the Pitt game, when all 3 receivers were playing. Thanks. Nothing too serious. My dog got sick, and I would rather spend the money on him than a football game. OFF TOPIC: 24 hr. vet hospitals are highway robbery. I had to pay $120 up front for them to even see him! If you paid as much to go to school as the average vet, you'd charge that much for your time also.

Some people are high, too. I'm excited to see what morelli can do, what the O and D lines will look like, and how the new secondary is. That being said, even without those new areas of PSU doing that well, they should handle the Zips.

Last time I checked, you win with offense too. Pitching and defense, is more important than offense. If you dont have a solid pitching staff supported with a solid defense, your not going to win many baseball games. Yet, you advocate the Cubs retaining Juan Pierre who hurts the Cubs from a defensive standpoint because of his weak arm. I don't know if you've noticed, but he advocates pretty much every baseball stereotype. In this case, he advocates retaining Pierre because he is fast, leadoff-type player and a "gamer"

And at 29, Walrond supasses Rich Hill as the oldest member of the starting rotation. Do you think Dusty's torn about calling the oldest member of his rotation a rookie? He's probably very confused.

It's Tony that doesn't get FSC. I have FSC and GolTV (gotta watch my first love - Roma!) through Dish Network. If Roma doesn't win Serie A this year I'll be stunned. You think so? I'm not so sure. Inter signed everyone under the sun, so they worry me. I know they always find a way to screw it up, but still..... And Milan's starting with what, a 7 point deficit? Did they appeal that or something? I thought it was like a 15 or 18 point penalty. Juve got a 25 point penalty. Is it even mathematically possible for them to get out of Serie B this season? Here is a list of the penalties as they stand right now. http://www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/jul25o.html Wow, those fines were pretty pointless compared to the other penalties. Mark Cuban gets fined more on a bimonthly basis just for something he says. Juventus should be penalized in a way to where its very very difficult to make it back to the Serie A for the next 3 years. I would have liked to seen something around blocking transfers with all the clubs involved as well. Not sure if they could have even done that or not though. They can definitely do that. Roma had a trade embargo for a full year after their handling of the Mexes transfer from Auxerre.
