i'm guessing it's more because there wasn't indisputable evidence to rule it no goal, but you could be right - the fact that he's a superstar and he cried to the refs could have swayed the decision in toronto. He LITERALLY rolled up to the refs while they were reviewing and showed them what happened... he made the decision for them, that is just sad. was the goal reviewed? if so, reviews are done by video by a central nhl office in toronto, so unless he skated all the way to toronto, i'm thinking you're probably wrong here. Yea it's reviewed in the war room obviously I know that. Are you kidding me though, even the Versus announcers said no goal all along, all replays showed he knocked it in with a high stick, and it's called a goal. I really dislike Crosby for his antics, but man this is a really really really bad call on the NHL. I KNOW Crosby didn't make the decision, it was sarcasm... but man is this bad. Please don't let the fact that the Versus announcers didn't say no goal all along sway you in your crusade to rid the NHL of the talentless Sidney Crosby.

If I ever run a baseball team i will only decide what to pay players after the season has completed and I can look at their final stats. -
At this point, I don't think counseling would do anything to a trash-talking, fashion-loving d-bag like Avery. Oh if it made him less of a d-bag i wouldn't want him. I think the goal of the counseling should be to let him control it in front of the press and that's about it.
