    To an untrain eye like myself, it look like a good clean tackle. So, IMO it's worth contesting. Maybe those who follow the game much longer then I can give you a better answer. maybe a yellow, probably not even that. Hard challenge, both feet down, hit the ball first.

    Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Brazil, England, Argentina, France.... I don't think the US could pass any one of them. Now, if France somehow misses the World Cup... You named 8. There's only 7 seeds. So we'd need 2 of those to miss. It's not likely at all.

    When you think about it, the bottom line is that without some help on the red card against us italy could easily have gotten 0 points from 3 games.

    Hot damn that was fun. Lot of beer showers from angry Hondurans after each goal and at the end of the game. A 7-year old near me took a cup to the head at the final whistle. Her mom went pretty much apeshit. I think I may be partially to blame, considering after every goal i'd yell, "Donde estan ahora, catrachos?"

    I watched from home. Just too pissed to post during the game. Now that it's over I have to say that what most pisses me off is how much pressure this puts on for Saturday...a game where we're playing a better team than Costa Rica, and on 2 days rest. Also I really wanted to let loose and enjoy myself on Saturday and now I'm going to be all bitchy the whole time. We really need some half-decent fullbacks. I'd even settle for mediocre or below average fullbacks. Torres and Mastro (ugh) midfield on Saturday is my prediction. Dempsey and Donovan out wide. Altidore and Ching up top. Or something.

    Well if Frankie is hurt, he's probably Mr. Right Back, although I'd be absolutely fine with Wynne-------goochboca--------Spector. That's rough for a roadie at Saprissa, but they've got to get used to it at some point. I don't worry about Spector's poise; i worry about his hip falling off. Playing in the EPL exposes one to hostile enviroments. I actually think we're going to see that back four, which means Bradley and Mastro are going to have to play smart. I think we'll see Beasley on the left.

    I think he's at full strength and has been for several weeks, but they're just continuing to note the injury so that nobody bitches about him not playing for Xerez for the rest of the season.

    Let's put it this way. After I got out of the Hawks game on monday night, I immediately drove to a random Wrigleyville bar (Rebel, not that this matters). Upon my entering the bar almost 45 minutes after the game had ended, my friends (7 of them) orchestrated a 35-40 person chanting session/high five line for me and the girl that went to the game with me, followed by everyone in the bar taking multiple shots together. Then everyone proceeded to watch the highlights on CSN and crap themselves all over again. If you go to ANY decent bar, there will be people going nuts over the Blackhawks game. I guarantee it. Pick a bar you like and don't worry about whether its a hockey bar

    its not Sam's army, I don't think next to the option was an area to enter a code to purchase tickets and listed above it's "Sam's Army, etc.". i am proven incorrect. The only Sam's Army/US Supporters seats left are in the 300s, by the way. But I'm not sure that there are any 100 level seats left anywhere.

    Can you even get Sam's Army tickets anymore? I would think not, now that we're so close to the game. My suggestion is buy random tickets on Ticketmaster, go to the game early, park in one of the South Loop parking lots, wander over and tailgate on the Waldron deck with the diehards, and then go in and enjoy yourself. I'll be in sec 119.

    I don't see anything stupid about them, and I'm looking forward to watching all sorts of meaningful sports this Sunday. seriously...i can't think of a better time to watch a game from the comfort of my couch...me+couch+beer+nachos+sports on tv all sunday afternoon = best day ever Boo afternoon drinking haha... maybe that's my gripe. boo afternoon drinking?

    They can do better. it's what made the difference for the Penguins in game 3 vs. the Caps. Dump and just go balls to the wall crazy and crash the offensive zone. The Hawks can do the same. Hell yes I am excited for the rest of the series.
