  1. Well saying you hope they get better this series to not just beat the Braves but also the Sox isnt overreacting it hoping they snap out of it, that what I originally said. They definitely didn't snap out of it today
  2. So you dont think saying these guys are cold and not hitting well the last week is accurate?
  3. This is pretty much same lineup that slumped most of second half last season, only difference is Bregman over Tucker, Bregman hasn't done much so far, and Ballesteros over Shaw.
  4. Yep 1 hit, like I said and Atlanta not the Grand Canyon. Some of these guys just aren't hitting now, and some really haven't been most of season.
  5. Bats need to all wake up, not just to beat the Braves but I dont want to see them limping into the Sox series and get beat there.
  6. They can beat the Braves, they can legit go on another long streak with the upcoming teams they play afterwards.
  7. Yeh they probably relooked and said whoops we missed that one..lol
  8. They usually say confirm if umps were right, they say stand if it inconclusive
  9. For Bulls fans, they jumped to the 4th pick after the lottery draw today
  10. Guys that were hitting gone cold and Guys that were mostly cold, still cold You look at their overall numbers, you scratch your head figuring out how they went 20-4 🤷🤷🤷🤣
  11. Yeh, I was gonna say he hasn't been the same since his return, maybe he wasn't fully ready.
  12. Ill bet the house, if Alcantara hits 25+ HRs, OPS over 850 and can get his K rate at 30% or under this season, he will be considered for one of the corner spots for the cubs next season. Shaw hasn't played the OF since Suzuki return, except the one game he started in CF. Taking nothing away from Shaw, hes been really good, but i believe Hoyer/Counsell likes and probably prefers having him as a super sub over starting in RF everyday. You can disagree all you want and that fine, long season, we'll see how it plays out.
  13. He has played left. He's mainly a 1st basemen which is likely the biggest reason he hasn't been brought up (Busch) and obviously Shaw is blocking him from being that 10th player. But he has played 1st, 3rd, and LF As much as id like to see him play for the Cubs, it more likely he'll be a trade piece come July
  14. Just because there isnt a place for him, doesn't make me wrong. Guy has over 1300 minor league PA, a .295 average, and .866 OPS, he's earned an opportunity on a major league roster whether it with the Cubs or elsewhere.
  15. Lol, I remember saying after that hit, the goose was going to be the reason he gets hot 🤣
