    Yea, going into this series and Brewers facing the Dodgers, you'd expect the Cubs to add 2 games on their lead not lose 2 games. Make it worse Brewers get Washington at home this weekend while the Cubs go to Yanlee Stadium so yea theres a good chance they go into the break in 2nd place if they dont take care of Buisness tonight and tomorrow.

    Yes, Madlock after back to back batting titled wanted to new contract of around 200 K and Wrigley refused and traded him. As we see the tradition of not paying good players continues to this day 😅😅

    Damn.. Not having Shaw at 3B and Happ in LF cost the first run. Don't know why Tucker gave up on that flyball, definitely was catchable and nobody letting Dansby know to throw home. These bats better be on today

    Happ getting a half game off, he won't have to play Outfield tonight and just focus on his ABs. Hopefully he can have a good night, he is wayyyyyy overdue.

    My thing with Alcantara is I worry that he just wont be the guy were hoping for to finish out this season. I think what he has done so far will continue as he is working his way back from his surgery and missing a full season, now next season he can be much better and closer to his normal self.

    This game sucks, best opportunity all night with the right guys up with men on base and nothing. Leave little confidence they get anything going or cash it in with the bottom half of order due up in the 9th.

    When theres other guys in lineup struggling for awhile, sometimes you can't afford to carry the rookie that hasn't figured it out yet when your fighting to win games to stay on top.

    I'd take my chances with Long to start the second half with at 3B until Hoyer able to find an everyday guy via trade. I said a couple weeks ago that Hoyer needed to go get a 3Bmen and for Shaw to go down until at least September and just work with the Iowa coaches.

    Theyre not getting shutout, once they get a run across , they'll get a few to take the lead.

    Him and Boyd as of now are the only guys in the rotation that they can count on to go deep and save the pen that will be needed more for the other 3 starters.

    Tried to pull all 3 of those pitches that were on outer half instead of just going the other to where he had a giant hole to hit through. Don't know why CC just don't flip him and Happ just to give them both a different look in the order and maybe they can get going.
