  1. Had to listen to the 9th on radio, definitely gonna watch it on replay later
  2. With Bethencourt under team control 1 more year and the emergence of Amaya, unless there's a must have guy available, I can see them going with these two again next season. No reason to spend money on a position if you don't have to, leaves more for others.
  3. I said he had a very good season in 2023, so no we didn't skip it.
  4. I said he hit for power, he slugged 435 with his 20 HR. He didn't hit much otherwise, with a .205 Avg and .304 OB
  5. Exactly, there will be about 20+ games left in the season when they call players up in September. Be cool if they still have a shot at catching the Braves then but I doubt it. They have kids that are ready or near ready to play, so whether it Triantos Shaw or even Vazquez it more about getting them AB over the final weeks then position they play. If Paredes is hurting and he's still not hitting then there's zero reasons to keep him in the lineup everyday.
  6. So you think he's been a good player this year or for the past 3 months ? He's had 3 years of 100 games or more. 2022 he hit for power but struggled overall. 2023 he had a very good season 2024 he started out well the first 2 months and hasn't done much of anything since. If he can get back to 2023 form in 2025 great, but he hasn't been remotely close to that this season and mainly the last 3 months.
  7. Never seen so much love for a guy who has a career .228 Avg .745 OPS and both falling. 14 hits in last 100 AB and 23 hit in 167 AB since July 1st. I guess he's been injured since then 🤷‍♂️ The guy has some HR pop but he's not a good hitter overall.
  8. What was his excuse before the shoulder injury last week ?
  9. Don't complain then when Paredes keeps going hitless.
  10. Shaw has played 42 games there and Triantos can play the position. It more about getting another bat in the lineup and getting them major league AB over a guy who hitting like crap.
  11. Didn't expect 3 runs this quickly, hopefully they can get more then 4 or 5 and win another easy one.
  12. Brewers were a pretty good running team, that something I liked about Counsell, he made things happen on the bases over waiting for the HR ball.
  13. Yea, if he's still not doing anything with the bat into September, I'd like to see Triantos or Shaw getting some games in at 3B. They can't go much worse then 6 for 50 like Paredes is doing.
  14. If the bats can find a way to get 4 or 5 runs on the board, I think theyll be able to steal this one.
  15. Yes, stranger things have happened with teams in September as far making or blowing a playoff spot. But, I'm just hoping for a good finish to these last games and hopefully they can carry the momentum into next season and start out strong. Hoyer needs to have a good offseason and bring in guys to upgrade certain areas of the roster over just patching up a few holes with cheap bandaids.
  16. Yea, he'll probably stay and hope for a better season in 2025 to decide if he wants to opt out after then.
  17. Kinda don't want to risk him getting hurt or lit up if you really want a team to claim him.
  18. https://x.com/M_Montemurro/status/1828515979887824944?t=_KdKa0wk4QccYBGl4lPPOg&s=19
  19. Just saw Heyward gonna sign with the Astros.
  20. Yea, back in 2016, I would of never of had Mckinney having a longer major league career then Russell. Good on him for staying active
