it was already an excellent deal when it was only gameday and the game audio. now video and at the same price? amazing. i can't believe there isn't any kind of monthly fee. 9.99 for all that is a ridiculously good deal hopefully it works as smoothly as the audio feature does

Lee has been outstanding over the last month and a half.

i think he'll turn it around this time, but this is a huge slump. his overall numbers went from awesome to completely mediocre in like a week or 2. hopefully he'll pump them back up quickly with a hot streak

i just don't think he's that good. he has horrible patience, doesn't really hit for power (he showed some pop in the minors at times but only has 16 home runs in almost 1200 major league at-bats), and isn't a big base stealer. so far in his major league career he's been juan pierre with less speed and a little more power. i think he's going to rely on hitting for crazy average if he wants to be anything more than like a .750 OPS guy.... unless he starts hitting for more power. he's not a bad player or anything... he has good minor league numbers. the problem is he'd cost a lot... wayyyy more than he's worth imo i just would like hendry to try and stay away from guys with horrible disicipline. the organization has gotten a lot more OBP friendly over the past couple years and i don't want to start sliding back the other way

that's kind of silly. i'm ot a lou fan at all, but let's be honest. the manager can only control so much. lou is certainly making things worse, but ultimately it's up to the hitters to hit. he can do everything to help them, but if they suck, they suck. right now there isn't really anything he can do to get these guys hitting. it's up to the players. Lou is the mouthpiece for the team. When he sounds confused and perplexed it doesn't give fans (and possibly management and/or players) confidence that he's the right guy to lead the team. Now, will giving us some BS answer about how he is working with the players everyday, etc etc make the team play better? No probably not...its a rather trivial annoyance. But its something that definitely bothers me about his managing style. so you're upset that he's being honest? In a way yes. If the leader of your team doesn't know what to do and doesn't seem to know if our problems will be fixed, how does that reflect on the team, who is obviously pressing? Now obviously we have no idea what goes on beyond closed doors, and I'm sure Lou isn't sitting there telling his players he has no confidence in them, but they definitely do hear what Lou says to the media too. i dunno, it's at the point where there's nothing lou can say. he's been saying "they have to start htiting, and i bleieve they will" for weeks now.

Did anyone ever say that Fukudome is as good as Pujols? His ceiling was Bobby Abreu at best. I dont think anyone ever compared him to Pujols, even when he first came over. lol, you are seriously the worst at picking up sarcasm ever. i even added the "good luck winning with a .900 ops center fielder" line just to make sure people understood i was being sarcastic, even though it shouldnt have been necessary. edit: also i dont get the abreau comparison. in his price abrea was ridiculous, way more than fukudome ever could have been..... and new abreu sucks, so fukudome's ceiling is higher than that
