Yeah but the Reds are in first with the best record in Baseball. It's just a matter of time before the Reds fall. I would rather have the Astros get as many losses as they can, especially as long as Clemens is "retired".

Oh i wouldn't apologize for bringing up politics. If people can talk about "hot chicks" in game threads...or anything else off topic...then surely politics is fair game too. I'm just sayin'.. 1) A mod already asked to not bring it up. 2) That comparison isnt' remotely accurate. People are infinitely more passionate and argumentative about politics than other off-topic things that may come up in the game thread. Yeah, I'm pretty sure everybody in here hates Glendon Rusch. I think that's unanimous.

Huh? The analogy needs no explanation. Sure it does. I don't see any point in making a comparison like that. He's incompetent, he sucks at his job, he lets everyone around him down, and he should be fired. I don't see it needing an explanation. I don't agree or disagree with you. There is absolutely no reason that Rusch should be in the rotation. Guzman pitched far better than Rusch has so far this year. We could even bring Hill up also. After Wood comes back we should have: Z Maddog Wood Marshall Guzman/Hill ABR: Anybody But Rusch.

Are you serious? The wind is blowing IN? Two no doubt home runs with the wind blowing in? Get rid of Rusch. Bob said that the wind is blowing in from right field. Weeks' home run is one thing, but Fielder's went directly into the wind and Jacque didn't even move at all.

When somebody hits a no doubter into a 10-15 mph wind, it's generally not a good sign.

meh..they are still the cardinals I hate this type of argument/comment. Probably because I'm a Cubs fan. :wink: right, but in the case of the football cardinals, its true!!! They're 1 or 2 OL and a 1 or 2 good defensive players away from the playoffs. I realize that, I was joking around.......Denny has always drafted well, and coached well. I could see them becoming a perrenial playoff team that never makes it to the SB. Denny just flakes out in the playoffs, his playcalling just gets weird then. So the new Indianapolis Colts.
