That Henry one was ridiculous.

That's a new record for futility. I remember a Cubs-White Sox game in the summer of 2003 I believe where Shawn Estes threw 50ish pitches in the first inning and gave up 6 runs. But Novoa's 56 were definately more than that.

One guy I knew and played soccer with (same competative team) growing up has played a couple games for the Men's National Team. His name is Heath Pearce. I doubt he'll make the World Cup roster, but it's weird seeing somebody that you played with as a kid on TV playing for the country.

Because he might have pitched worse then Rusch this year. Wait what am I talking about. But seriously, Ohman has looked pretty pathetic this year too. I say DFA Rusch, take the hit, send down Aardsma, and bring up Williams and Hill. That's a good plan also. Would you keep Ohman in the pen then?

According to Bensen, you don't pass up a talent like Reggie Bush. Houston did. Because Houston is cheap or stupid. Or both. I'm so mad at the Bears - didn't like trading down with the amount of talent still available. And then Marcedes gets gobbled up 2 picks later. :( Stupid? Maybe. Cheap? Absolutely not. They gave Williams 6 yrs $54 mil. They came to an pre-arranged contract with Mario Williams - I have a feeling Reggie Bush was asking for more than Houston wanted to pay, so they went to option B. I'd rather have traded down than pay #1 overall money for Mario Williams. It's not like the Texans didn't have a bunch of holes and could have used the extra picks. Houston still gave Mario Williams more than any first round pick had ever gotten before. So whether with Bush or Williams they would still have handed out a record setting deal.

Why don't we give Ohman's position in the pen to Rusch and actually let Ohman pitch more than once every week and a half.

Or Rusch and Aardsma suck and Ohman can't be good when he gets 1 appearance in the last 9 days. Aardsma needs more time in AAA and Rusch just sucks. Ohman needs to be given the chance to prove he sucks on a regular basis.

Not a surprising pick by the Colts with Joseph Addai. Needed a running back.

I really hope our offense gets all these double play balls out of them now and the pitching staff gets all the home runs allowed out as well because I don't want to see any of this tomorrow when Z is pitching.

What do the Panthers need another running back for? I know Davis is aging, but what about DeShaun Foster? He has his share of injury concerns. But if he comes back healthy that's two running backs that want the ball and are the same type of back. At least Davis and Foster were different types of backs.

Have the Bears made their first pick yet ? Traded it to Buffalo for the 10th pick in 2nd round (42nd overall) and 9th pick in 3rd round (73rd overall).

This is what happens when you trot out Rusch, Aardsma, and Oh Man. I just hope Dusty pitches Ohman enough to get him back to his 2005 form.
