  1. Nice catch Juan Pierre. End this inning Howry.
  2. "That's ball four. YES!!" Idiot White Sox announcers.
  3. What exactly did Mariotti write about today? By the way, I find it funny that Hawk bashes him on the air. This is the only case I agree with that idiot. In a round about way he said AJ got punched because of his reputation for being a punk. It's the truth. I'm surprised this is the first time somebody has decked AJ. It's too bad Bonds didn't go after AJ like he did with Kent when they were both on the Giants. That would have been funny.
  4. JACQUE JONES!!! ALRIGHT!! Errors will kill you.
  5. starter That's what I figured. It makes sense the starter gets the loss, but I just wanted to make sure.
  6. I have a random question and a hypothetical situation. A starter leaves a game with any one run lead - let's just say 4-3 - and two runners on base. Then the reliever comes in and allows the two inherited runners to score, but nobody else and the team loses 5-4. Who gets the loss, the starter or reliever?
  7. Konerko's on steroids. That's the only explanation.
  8. Do you think the Sox walk ARam next inning?
  9. 2 HR for ARAM. He's really responding to being dropped in the order. That was pitch was lower than the first one. I don't know how he managed to hit that ball.
  10. No warnings issued Interesting. Umpires must have used common sense and realized it wasn't intentional.
  11. I think the only people that would get beaned intentionally today are Barrett and Pierzynski.
  12. Grab some pine meat. Sorry to steal from Krukow and Kuiper, but I actually like those guys.
  13. What did hawk say about that? He didn't say "You can put it on the board...yes" Unfortunately we just heard that with Konerko.
  14. I can't wait for the first time Barrett/Pierzynski comes to the plate with the other one behind the plate. It should be interesting. I have to say, I like the old time uni's from the Sox.
  15. And the most amazing part is we aren't last in MLB. The Royals have 26.
  16. I would say collisions like this only happen about 5-7 times a year total in both leagues. A lot of things have to lineup correctly to make it happen. I can think of 3-4 off the top of my head and they go back a few years. Here are some examples with video/game recaps/and some pictures. 3 of the links involve Cardinals, sorry about that. LINK with picture LINK with video Link with pics and video Link with video On second thought, BBTN just showed 5 plays at the plate this week alone. Plays at the plate or collisions at the plate?
