Which means it's about time for you guys to trade them all away so you won't have to pay them. You're not paying attention. Bay & Jack Wilson signed some expensive (for us) contract extensions this previous off season. No one is going anywhere just for the sake of dumping salary. There's a reason Pittsburgh is our AAAA team.

Ground ball towards 1st/2nd pitcher goes towards 1st. Once he saw that the play was contained he should have gone to third. Z should know that there is a switch on and that there are 3 infielders on the right side of the field. True but pitchers are trained over and over again to slide to the right side when there's a grounder there. Professional players should be able to use their brains and realize that there was no reason to go to first base. I don't care if Z goes to home or to third but there is no reason he should go to first base. Sure they are trained to run to first, but you have to realize the situation.

What's the point of bunting when the runner is stealing? Doesn't that defeat the purpose?
