Yeah, I'm sure as the years go on we'll see other guys try to do both, and some will likely be successful. But I'd be shocked if anyone comes anywhere close to being as good at both as he is.
I still wish he could play like 2-3 years in the outfield just so he could try to add a gold glove. There's no way with his speed he wouldn't at least be an above average OFer. And we know he can throw the ball so that's not an issue.
In the Finals all time, teams up 4+ goals in the 3rd period are 108-0. They said in the playoffs overall, only once (in 1982 I think) has a team trailed by 4+ goals in the 3rd period and won.
This Knicks run is wild. Teams have gone on playoff runs before but usually they’re not surprising. The 01 Lakers, the 17 Warriors, the Cavs team (17 I think) that went like 12-1 through 3 rounds. But nobody saw this coming with the Knicks.
The way this team is trending that won’t be necessary. And even if we do make the playoffs, we’re certainly not getting a bye so no need to plan for a Game 4 yet.
81-1 with 10's Houston Harden, 90's Jordan, 20's Chicago DeRozan, 00's Minnesota Garnett and 70's Lakers Kareem.
EDIT: Just got Warriors Wilt and 80's Jordan as my first two spins but didn't get lucky after that.
It was a little funny seeing Arsenal having a parade for their EPL title 24 hours after losing to PSG. I get why, that they couldn't do it during the season because it was too close to the UCL final and then a lot of these guys are leaving for the World Cup. So they could really only have it today. But it's still a little awkward.
Gabriel missing the final PK …
Arsenal is just so boring. Them scoring so early was the worst case scenario because it allowed them to sit back and bunker. After 38 minutes they had completed 45 passes. That’s what Burnley does against peak Man City.
I haven't watched many Canadiens games in the playoffs, but I swear every time I have tuned in, they're getting outshot 2-1. Didn't they win a game earlier in the postseason despite taking like 14 shots?
Christopher Sanchez went 7 scoreless to extend his scoreless streak to 44 2/3 innings. It’s the 7th longest streak in the Live Ball era and the 11th longest ever.
