  1. Horrible shooting thusfar.
  2. With the bowl game out of hand, I'll be watching the OSU-UF game coming up.
  3. Kansas City (-7) tonight.
  4. Wow. That was great. Thank you for posting that and Jon Stewart is the man. I've always been a fan of his and this makes me that much more of a fan. For some reason, even as much as I love Jon, that always rubbed me the wrong way. I'm certainly not a fan of Begala or Tucker, and never watched Crossfire, but I didn't think it was very cool of him to be invited onto a show and then proceed to, with all seriousness, bash the show and call one of the hosts a jerk. In Stewart's defense, he didn't up the smugness until Tucker started mocking his Kerry interview. Yeah, it seemed like Stewart wouldn't have gone off like he did, or as aggressively as he did, had Tucker not repeatedly gone back to the questions Stewart asked in the Kerry interview.
  5. Unlike Denver, the Knicks didn't really lose anybody important because of the brawl. Robinson, Collins and Jeffries are all backups so the only thing they lost was depth. And those guys who'd otherwise not see the court at all are in there in this joke of a game by the Bulls. Can't box out on defense, nor can they shoot. Sigh. I'm not sure I get your point. According to ESPN.com's box score, the five Knick starters (Marbury, Crawford, Frye, Lee, Curry) have scored 67 of the 74 points so far and have played 3/4 of the minutes as well. ETA: Yes the Knicks aren't a good team but they weren't hurt by the suspensions all that much. But that doesn't change the fact that the Bulls shouldn't be losing to them anyway.

  7. Rice apparently doesn't have a defense. Troy up 28-10 with just under 10 minutes left in the second quarter. Fortunately this will only cost me 3 points.
  8. Can somebody remind the Bulls that they are playing the Knicks today and make sure that they actually show up in the second half? Because that would be great.
  9. Absolutely.
  10. what went horribly wrong? and yeah, i told you guys that byu was really good. And yet you only put 15 points on them in the ESPN Pick Em game.

  12. I don't feel like reading this whole thread so if this topic has been discussed already, I apologize. Has Lovie Smith said anything about playing/not playing the starters this weekend and, if he's going to play them, for how long? The Bears are only favored by 5 on the road and, considering the Lions are going for the #1 pick, I would think this is a virtual lock if the Bears play their starters the whole game.
  13. difference is BYU players are married and have 3 kids, Miami or Texas plays are single and have 3 kids starting from when they were about 17 Good point.
  14. Right after his interception: "You can't telegraph a pass more than Brady Leaf did right there." Of course not, he's a Leaf. It's what he does best. It's in his blood.
  15. HAHAHA. Quality stats about the BYU team. The announcers said a lot of them have gone on the 2 year morman missions already, about half (I believe) are married and a few have three kids. Not one kid, three kids. I'm going to keep my mouth shut here.
  16. Don't worry, they'll let you down once conference play starts. They'll have to work hard to do so, as they have the easiest Big East schedule you could draw up (no Pitt, no UConn, and two games each against USF and Providence). Sort of a makeup for those years where they were forced by ESPN to play Cuse, Pitt and UConn twice a year. That will just make it all the more agonizing for you to watch. And, as a side note, I say this not as a Notre Dame hater because I'm indifferent to their basketball team, but since your teams have consistently let you down over the past year.
  17. Don't worry, they'll let you down once conference play starts.
  18. The Oregon O-line is horrendous. BYU is only rushing 3 and they're getting a ton of pressure on Leaf.
  19. Brady Leaf, doing his best imitation of his brother, gets sacked twice on the opening drive.
  20. One time, I knocked out Mike Tyson without even touching him.
  21. If Pujols retired today, would he make the HOF? I doubt it because he's only played 6 years now so I don't think he can be called one of the all time greats. If he does this for a couple more years then I would say yes (like Sandy Koufax).
  22. I'll take that as well.
  23. That looks like the best matchup to me as well.
  24. Can't really say I'm disappointed about this loss. The Bulls are hot right now and the game was in Chicago. Hopefully the Lakers can come back and beat Minnesota but this was a bad start to the road trip. I have a feeling that when the Lakers return to LA, Phoenix will have a comfortable lead in the Pacific.
  25. Well, Kobe fouling out should end this thing.
