Minnesota's a pretty good team, so you're wrong there. The problem is their coach. A couple of years ago they blew a 21 point 4th quarter lead against Michigan. When he has the lead, Mason coaches the 4th quarter like he's about to wet himself. He's awful. A decent coach would've never let that game come to that. Minnesota's 6-7 and got plastered by the only good teams they played (Michigan, OSU, Wisco and Cal all beat them by at least 14, and other than Michigan, a home rivalry game, that margin was at least 25). If Minnesota is a good team, then there are about 50-55 great teams in college football. Minnesota has usually had a good offense but a shaky at best defense. This year, their offense wasn't as good. They were not a good team this year.

I'm pissed this game is on the NFL Network. They should not be showing bowl games on an NFL channel. This sucks.

Now I need a Tech FG to send the game to overtime. Then hopefully Tech gets the ball first, gets a TD and holds Minnesota scoreless so not only will I get points in the Bowl PickEm but I would win my actual bet (Tech -6.5) as well.

Looks like you went with the wrong Big Ten team :wink: btw, between the drubbing of aTm, Mizzou's collapse and Texas Tech's piss poor performance, it hasn't been the best 24 hours for the Big XII Don't forget Rutgers pounding Kansas State.

I'm stunned with the score of the Minnesota-Texas Tech game. I would have thought that if anybody would have been up 35-7 at half it would have been Tech.

That touchdown put them at 55 for the game. If South Carolina would have made that extra point, they would have already reached it. It appears both teams left their defenses at home.
