    He has to be smart on this drive and take what is given. The WR's have to step up and make a play by breaking a tackle and getting some serious yards or a TD. Catching the ball when it hits their hands would help as well. Thank you Reggie.

    The Colts need a stop and a touchdown before halftime. They do get the ball to start the second half.

    Whats the score? As this topic goes over 2000. 21-3. Still 9:00 left in the first half, but the Colts don't look good at all. Manning looks okay with the completions, despite the interception. Is the Colts defense not holding up? It's been everything. Manning made one bad throw which was the interception. There were a couple drops by Addai and Harrison which would have been big plays (Harrison's could have been a TD). The Pats DB's have also knocked away a couple good throws by Manning. But the Colts D hasn't played well either.

    I think they just got lucky the first two playoff games. Being able to play a team that shouldn't have been in the playoffs, and then one with an abysmal offense certainly helps. Brady & the Pats just don't lose these games. Once they get this far, they get to the SB. Actually once they get this far they win the Super Bowl. Ahhhh......except when they play one team :wink: Well if you want to bring the whole Patriots history into this, it would actually be 2 teams.

    I don't remember the fourth, but three of Manning's incompletions were good throws (the one Addai dropped and then the two good defensive plays on the deep passes to Wayne and Harrison). He's played better today so far.

    That holding penalty is going to derail the drive. ARGH. Indy's going to have to settle for a FG attmept.

    AFC has been far superior to the NFC over the course of the year. Doesn't mean the Bears can't beat either of these teams, but as a whole the AFC has been better. I think the Bears were the only NFC team that wouldn't have been a clear underdog in the Super Bowl.

    No opponent yet... I just figured with the excitement around the Bears in the Super Bowl somebody would have started one anyway.

    Agreed-that's a huge break for the Patriots as Addai had plenty of chance to catch that for a huge gain. Yeah, the announcers are saying it was too long, but I strongly disagree. The ball was securely in his hands. No good reason to drop it. He got two hands on the ball at the same time, which means the ball wasn't thrown too long. Harrison and Wayne would have pulled that in. Oh well.

    osu? this is my second time, first being illinois basketball. Fortunately I'm a Lakers fan. That's all I have.
