I'm glad he is on the team. Personally, if he can play SS everyday, I think he could take over for Izzy at some point this season. It would be an upgrade offensively.

Yeah, I can see by the response I heard something wrong or was mis-informed. Not that I expected Pie to actually start for us this year, but just wondered if anyone else had heard it. Sorry guys.

I think I actually read this somewhere. Did anybody read or hear about this? I guess he is looking okay in ST, but I don't see how he ends up starting for us with all the OFs we currently have.

Thanks for the welcome. I agree. I think Soriano is our best option for CF, plus he can easily move to left or right if and when Pie is ready. By the way, has anyone here checked out http://www.fogpog.com? Pretty nice forum over there as well. Just wondered what you guys thought about it.

I think Soriano will be alright in center. It will take some getting used to for him, but I think he'll be fine.
