Personally I would stay away from Brandon Wright. He's neck and neck with Yi for who will be the biggest bust in the draft. I would not be happy if my team drafted either of them.

It's not that Zambrano is tough (although I'm sure he is), it's that he happens to be the craziest man ever to NOT get locked up in an asylum. Maybe just in baseball. There's no way he tops Stephen Jackson or Ron Artest in terms of crazy.

Give him another shot. Whether that means sending Theriot down or DFA Izturis I don't care (preferably the latter) but Ronny deserves another shot. I know a called for his head earlier in the year when he was sucking but he's earned another chance to play at the ML level.

Too bad Howard didnt start his career till he was 25. Yeah, you're better off hoping for Pujols (as a second guy along with ARod) to break it. EDIT: Holy crap, Howard is actually older than Pujols. Granted, it's only two months, but still. I knew Howard was old but I figured Pujols had a year or two on him. He probably has 5-7 years on Howard, we just don't truthfully know about it yet ;-). Heh. I guess I should have said 'listed age'.

Why is this a dumb move? They aren't going to be good again unless the rebuild. I would have brought in some young prospects for the future. This team is a failure. You don't have to get rid of every single good player to rebuild. Who? is and has been a good pitcher for his entire career. He had one below average year (2006 with a 93 ERA+) and one slightly above average year (2003 with a 108 ERA+) and the other 4.5 years (counting this year as a half year) as a starter he's been very good (126 ERA+ was his lowest of those years). He is a very good pitcher and if the White Sox can sign him to an extension of 4/$50M that would be a very good move especially when you consider that he would be getting $5.5M less than what Barry Zito got.

:shock: :shock: I know. Another shocking thing is, IIRC, this is the Royals first winning month in 4 years. They're within a game of the White Sox for 4th place in the AL Central.
