You're being generous there. His fastball is dependent on his curve. If he can command the curve, he's good. If he can't, he's bad. It's that simple. Fortunately, it seems he commands it more often than not. I was implying sarcastically that he's One Pitch Rich.

Yesterday's thread was up to 7 premium pages before first pitch I think. Maybe the most without an off day in between games - which the Cubs had before today's game? The thread was up the day before, though, it's not like we had a huge amount of extra time. True. This thing is gonna be up to 10 premium pages by the time the game starts tomorrow.

It appears you can view the whole game for about a week after the game was played. The last Cubs game I could view in it's entirety was last Thursday against Texas. You can, however, view the top plays from every game.

I would think it would be more effective to just not go in the first place. By buying a ticket you're giving management money. Plus you'll probably have to pay for parking as well. -

Even that would be stupid because he's got more value as a closer. There's no reason the Cubs should be looking to do anything with Dempster other than keep him in the closers role.

Not with all the walks he'll draw. I have a feeling a lot of pitchers will walk him more and more as he gets closer to the record, just so they won't be the team or the pitcher who gives up that acheivement Yeah. Bonds only has 56 hits this year. There's no way he gets there in 2007.
