    yeah, I was confused when I saw options for both freakishly often and weekly -- aren't they the same thing? I would assume weekly meant once a week. yes, which is freakishly often when married Heh. I get it now. :D

    Even if the Cubs were going to be in the World Series, Zambrano's one inning he would throw probably wouldn't make much of a difference anyway.

    I don't even care if we couldn't get anything better. Izturis has negative trade value when you consider his contract. Ridiculous. To get back on tract, I would LOVE to see Jones and Izturis traded. Hopefully we don't have to eat too much money. Agreed. Some cheap crap prospect would have been better than Izturis.

    I'm guessing this offseason is going to be a disaster. :cry: I'm definitely not looking forward to it. I'll be willing to take it if they win this year. Otherwise, no; they have an obligation to their long loyal fans to somehow find a way to keep things moving, sale or no sale. They can't expect their fans to tolerate more inaction and rebuilding just because they choose to sell the team. If they win the World Series this year, they could do just about anything and I wouldn't care because the Cubs would have just won the World Series. EDITED: See below.
