Five dolla. deal...it is a bet...the cubs are winning this game Someone just bet on the Cubs. Season over. It's been fun, guys. My mom placed bets on the Cubs to win the NL Pennant and the World Series back in April or May when she and my dad went to Vegas along with a bunch of other bets. For some of the other ones (A's winning the WS) that can't happen, she and my dad burned them last night. I pleaded with her today to burn the Cubs tickets for good luck but she wouldn't do it. So I told her that if the Cubs blow this, it's her fault.
