    This cat is staying in my lap all game long. All food and litter box breaks come in between innings. I hope it's declawed. He's not but we trim them. He never scratches though, it's very nice.

    I'm switching up the mojo right now. Yesterday my cat was not in my lap while I was watching the game and wasn't in my lap in the first inning. He's in my lap now. Hope this works.

    But as a part of Ankiel's punishment for being caught with HGH and because Bud Selig has it out for the Cubs and wants to help the Brewers, Selig mandates that the game must play a tenth inning and that Ankiel has to pitch for the Cardinals. Ankiel throws 19 consecutive wild pitches as the Brewers win 18-17. Dammit, I turned off gameday and missed that. I shut mine off too, thinking it was frozen. Turns out it was just that none of the pitches came in anywhere on the screen. I actually was just talking to the Gameday operater at Miller Park on AIM and the reason for that was they were all laughing so hard at Ankiel that they couldn't concentrate hard enough to put the pitches in. They offer apologies to everybody who was trying to follow along.

    Why should we expect a team to go 7-0 to end the season? I'm not sure he was actually saying he expects them to. I think he was saying the Cubs just need to take care of their own business and not have to worry about what the Brewers do. Yes. I don't think the Brewers will win out, but it's certainly possible. The Cubs just need to worry about going 4-1 in these last five games and then it won't matter what the Brewers do. Everything is set up for the Cubs to win the division.
