  1. Yeah, I'm torn on that. On one had, I'd rather have Leicester win the title by winning at home against Everton because the atmosphere would be way better than on the road. And it would definitely be better than if both lose this weekend. But on the other hand, if Leicester loses or ties and Spurs beat Chelsea, yesterday's game is going to annoy me even more knowing Spurs would be 2 or 3 back instead of 4 or 5.
  2. If Maness actually throws him a strike.
  3. My team has a cumulative 2.56 ERA and 1.07 WHIP this year, which are 1st and 2nd in the league. I'm 3-3 in the two categories. Another guy has a 4.35 ERA and a 1.27 WHIP, both of which are 8th in the league (10 players). He's 3-0 in both categories. I hate fantasy.
  4. The last few minutes of this game have been pretty fun.
  5. LOL. Great minds think alike or whatever.
  6. Good to see the Cards can't get Segura out either. He's 4-4 including a HR in the 6th that just put the DBacks up 7-5.
  7. Disappointing performance today. Had chances to put the game out of reach in the first half but couldn't and let West Brom stick around and get a totally deserved goal. Congrats to Leicester. I can't be too mad becaus it's an amazing story. Alli's going to have to learn to control his temper. He's had a couple other incidents earlier this year, the main one I remember was a kick against Fiorentina in the Europa. Teams are going to start going after him more to try to get him to do something stupid and refs are going to start paying closer attention to him. Great year but they still need to finish it off with another win to secure a spot in the UCL group stage.
  8. Of course he was. And a source familiar with the Cardinals says former scouting director Chris Correa was just doing general tech support.
  9. To break it down a bit further: 8-4 with a 0 RD against all other teams (they'd be better if St. Louis hadn't crushed them in 1 game). 1-6 with a -40 RD against the Cubs.
  10. Going off B-R (since 1900): 1902 Pirates +81 1905 Giants +80 2003 Yankees +79 1918 Giants +73 1939 Yankees +71 We had the 4th best RD after 17 games (behind the Pirates and both Giants teams) and are tied with the 39 Yankees for 5th best RD after 19 games (behind the other four teams above).
  11. Not a major spoiler but I'll put it in tags in case you haven't seen tonight's Game of Thrones yet.
  12. They didn't mention any specific numbers but on the Effectively Wild pod the other day they were saying that pitcher's velo is typically lower in April and goes up as the season goes along. They didn't say by how much on average or how long it takes to stabilize, however.
  13. No sense in switching it up from last time. Raiders select Sheldon Rankins, DT, Louisville.
  14. They shouldn't have let him play this game. The earliest I would have brought him back was Game 5, and I'd only do that if it was 2-2. If it's 3-1, there's no need to run the risk. Golden State doesn't need Curry to win this series and they should have taken it easy with him.
  15. Might as well get all the suck out in one game. Crush the Reds tomorrow and start a new streak.
  16. This comeback is going to be glorious.
  17. Too many pitches up in the zone from Cahill.
