  1. Farrell pitching like he wants to get to San Diego ASAP.
  2. Remember when Rizzo stole 17 bases in 2015? How the hell did that happen?
  3. Was Rizzo running backwards there? It took him 20 seconds to get down the line.
  4. Missed the first half but the second was all croatia . . . and almost no whistles. The first half was similar as far as the whistles go. Lovren deserved at least one yellow card and maybe two and didn’t get any.
  5. So if that same play happens but Lucroy did tag Bregman (so umps initially rule safe, but overturn it on replay), do the A's still lose because Lucroy threw the ball away? Or do they rule that had they gotten the call right, Lucroy never throws the ball to first and it's second and third with 2 outs? I was wondering the same thing. I'd assume that they'd rule the play over at that point. That’s what I was thinking. The runners were moving so you make it 2nd and 3rd with two outs.

  7. So 11 batters in and one ball out of the infield and even that one went off Sandoval’s glove.
  8. It would be nice if we could hit the ball out of the infield.
  9. lol. Are you on vacation or did you move? My work has an office in Hawaii and one of the guys that works there is a Cubs fan. He told me he couldn’t watch last night. MLB Network said it was either the Cubs game or the Dodger game and he didn’t get either. So I did a little searching and found that info out.
  10. So apparently all of the California teams are blacked out in Hawaii on MLB TV. MLB’s blackout rules are [expletive].
  11. For sure. That slide is amazing. Just perfect.
  12. So we lose because Rizzo can't catch the ball twice, Baez was lackadaisical picking up a ball and the offense could only muster one run off a rando with a 4 ERA. Cool cool cool.
  13. Yeah it would be nice to win these two series and go 4-2 going in to the break, though I'd be fine going 3-3 (just basically don't go like 1-5). Hopefully, somehow, the VBs will finally lose but I'm not holding my breath in the Marlins series with them. The Pirates series this weekend is a 5 game series with a DH so hopefully they only win 2 of those games, somehow. Damn, the Brewers have 8 games this week compared to our 6. They’ll have play 5 more than us at the break. Hopefully we can be up a couple in the loss column. We'll make up two of those games with the 5-gamer right out of the break against the Cards while the Brewers only have 3 that weekend.
  14. Three shots to get the guy in from second. Don’t horsefeathers it up again, Cubs.
