Jankowski pissed on that ball, it wasn't decently hit. It's more the fact that he's got 6 homers in almost 800 PA's in his career and he hits a no doubter in a pitcher's park.

Every decently hit flyball the Cubs hit that doesn't go out is going to make me more and more annoyed that Jankowski's did go out.

i actually hate the format change i'd prefer they not rush so they can launch as many majestic dongs as possible You know they hit more homers in this format than they used to, right? Last year the lowest round was 10. The year before only one guy hit fewer than 10 in a round. In 2015 there were four rounds of less than 10 but the lowest was 8. In 2014, the last year of the old format, only one guy hit 10 in a round. One of the semifinals finished 1-0 (both guys used all 10 outs).

Isner-Anderson going about as expected. Only 5 total breaks, three of the first four sets went to tiebreakers and they’re 18-18 in the fifth set. Approaching 6 hours on the court.

Kim Clijsters had a kid in 2008 and came back to win 3 majors. She was also a decade younger than Serena when she came back and won those majors though.

Shhhh! We don’t want Mike getting fired. How deep into the organization does this horsefeathers go, though? Aren’t the chances high that if they fire Matheny, they’ll hire someone more or less just like him to replace him? Just look at the comments their GM just made about Dex. They’ll hire the same type of guy if they fire Matheny.

He needs to go on the Schwarber workout plan in the offseason. Watching him speedwalk down the line was painful. I know he's never been fast but I still can't believe he didn't beat that out
