  1. Yeah, he’s losing control of this thing quickly. If England get a second, a Colombian player is definitely getting sent off.
  2. Any time you can just get rid of a 24 year old (at the start of next season) who has gotten better each season he’s been in the league and just put up a 16 and 8, and literally get nothing back in return, you just have to do it.
  3. That’s my thinking as well. Let Ingram grow another year, Kuzma is a nice wing player to pair with Lebron and Lonzo I still like. Also do a 1 year deal for Boogie. Enough to be interesting, not enough to win. Make sure Ingram doesn’t really take another huge leap and get a guy or two next year when the picture is clearer on what the young guys are. Lonzo, Kwahi or Klay, Lebron, Kuzma, Ingram and Randle would let you do a lot of Warriors like things. I just hope they’re patient and Lebron bought in to it for the year instead of false title hopes. So goodbye Randle. Don't like paying Stephenson $4.5M and Rondo $9M when Randle signs for 2/$18M with the second being player option. They could have given him the same deal and it probably doesn't affect next year at all since Randle specifically so he could be a FA next year. I would understand if those guys could shoot (not that Randle can either) but they can't. The only good thing is all these deals are one year.
  4. As long as there is competition. Last years conference finals were good....the finals weren’t And the year before nothing was good.
  5. The Lakers could have gotten him for that price if they wanted to.
  6. Hooray for another boring year where one team has a chance to win a title!
  7. This game is fun. Japan isn’t sitting back at all, even when it was 2-1.
  8. Holy crap Japan. Nice counter on the first goal and great strike on the second.
  9. CLAP CLAP CLAPCLAPCLAP (this is pathetic salt but I'll take it) GIVE ME THOSE SWEET CHEECH TEARS BAYBEEEEEEE Yeah doesn’t make up for us missing the Cup and it’s not nearly as good as if Mexico had crashed out with 6 points in the group stage, but it’s still something.
  10. Come on, Brazil. Don’t let me down.
  11. His Ross stuff happened on March 12, 2017 and his last appearance here was the next night. Here's the thread: http://www.northsidebaseball.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1004&p=153035#p153035
  12. You hate this direction? Any decent player will be throwing themselves at the Lakers for pennies on the dollar to play for the Lakers especially if the get Leonard. I know LeBron is getting old but having LeBron locked in for 3 years is not bad. I really don’t see a direction the Lakers could have taken that gave them better odds of contending in the next 3 years. They are not at all good enough right now but they got the most important part If they could pull it off they could’ve ended up with any combination of the guys i mentioned for only money the next 2 offseason and still kept the young guys to have a really complete team with better longevity instead of shorting a window by trading most off to get Kwahi now. Yeah, in an ideal world, you have LeBron this year, bring back Randle and see how the young guys progress. Then bring in another free agent next year. Not sure if LeBron is okay essentially punting on winning a title next year (he should be because they aren’t beating the Warriors next year anyway).
  13. Right, but they aren’t winning this year anyways and it makes the team thinner for a few years if they just wait. well we'll see what they have to give up either this offseason or at some point midseason if kawhi sticks to his guns about wanting to play in LA...i think they could end up with leonard without having to give up ingram and kuzma. and lebron/kawhi/filler is good to be enough to make a serious run at golden state Ingram is the main one I don’t want to give up. I thought he made huge strides last year being able to get to the rim and with his shooting.
  14. Tough few days for rmack. He’ll just complain about the pitching.
  15. Not as currently constructed. As it is, they’ll probably win 45-50 next year. But they’re also probably not done.
  16. Yes they got rid of triple jeopardy as long as it's a play on the ball. It's a yellow plus penalty. Good to know. Didn't know if that was an EPL specific rule or a FIFA rule.

  18. And the Cards are within one in the 7th.
  19. Did they get rid of the double jeopardy in the World Cup? I know they did in the EPL so as long as you're making a play on the ball, you can't get a red card and give up a PK. Because that should have been a red for denial of a goal scoring opp.
  20. 6, by the 1929 New York Giants. 5 teams have done it in 5 straight games.
  21. I think they said 9th slam of the year. According to baseball almanac, 14 is the record for a season by the 2006 Indians and 2000 A's. NL Record is 12 by the 1997 Braves and 2000 Cards.
  22. I think they said 9th slam of the year.
